Cheap supports break easily

The two stars it does get are because it is adorable. However, the support rods are cheap plastic and snap just sitting there not being used. Mine broke and slumped over before the baby was even born! Trying to find something we can tape to the broken rods (yes, more than one and more than one spot on each rod) so it will stand up again.

Toys are fraying

Overall the mat has a few sensory things built into the mat itself, it’s pretty standard but we like it. But the hanging toys are all fraying apart where the hanger part is attached. We’ve had it for 2 months and it’s not hardly had any real wear and tear, my daughter is 3 months she can’t even grasp them yet and I have to sew them back together. I expected more from this brand.

The Peanutshell Safari Baby Plan Gym is fun and interactive. My two month old baby enjoys this play mat each day. The mat is soft and has fun prints in vibrant colors. It even has a noisy squeaky toy and crinkle toys on the actual mat. The mobile that goes above baby has interactive toys that baby can kick or hit with their hands or feet. My son loves the rattle and crinkle sounds that some of these toys make. Assembling this takes less than five minutes and is very easy. I love that the mat is washable. It also dries super quick so it is ready to be reassembled and played with. I do not regret this purchase at all! Get yours!

Easily Becomes a Danger

My 5 month old has only been playing with this mat for about 1 month and the toys are already beginning to shred. From the simple movement of her fingers the threads unravel within seconds and become a severe chocking and straglation hazard. I'm throwing it out for safety reasons. Considering the price, the quality is terribly disappointing.

Great value and variety of activities

My son loves this play gym! I like the variety of toys (some rattle, some crinkle, some are black and white, some are colors). I appreciate the pillow for tummy time and it really helps him strengthen his neck. This play gym is pretty much the only “toy” we need for our 2 month old. He uses it every day multiple times per day! Great value for the price.

Nice but lacks durability

We love this play mat and use it every day! The toys are soft and colorful, and my daughter loves the crinkle paper and other attachments on the mat. Our only complaint is that it doesn't hold up super well. My baby is only 5 months old and two of the connector ribbons that hold the toys up have ripped off.

This tummy-time gym mat play activity is so versatile in the design! I love the mirror and the many colored shapes of animals with all their textures. You can tell it was designed with safety in mind as each animal has to be clipped on and off. It really encourages tummy time and the use of the child’s development of his neck muscles! What a win with this toy!

I absolutely loved this play mat! My baby is entertained by it for hours each day. My baby enjoyed the many different sensory zones on the mat, including the owl wing that crinkles and the fabric rags of sun. I really like the durability of this as well as how the stuffed animals are detachable and wipeable. I would highly recommend this!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I love The Peanutshell 7 in 1 Baby Play gym and Tummy Time Mat! I love that it didn’t come in a giant box with a million pieces that are difficult to put together, especially while trying to tend to baby. The play mat was very easy to put together. It came with 5 main pieces. The mat, the overhead sticks, and their covers. You simply click the sticks together which attach like a tent structure, slide them into their covers, hook those to the mat, and attach your toys. Then you’re ready for play and tummy time! The mat is soft but not a material that would cause the babes to sweat. It feels like it would be easy to wipe off but not a material that would cause the babies to sweat. I really liked how the back of the play may is textured to prevent some slip on slick or hard surfaces. My favorite feature is that the mat in its entirety is able to be easily disassembled and WASHED! Everything can come off to be thrown into the washer. Babies can make such a mess and it’s so important to me to be able to keep everything clean. I really like that it came with SIX toys that can be hung and exchanged. The toys come on a decent quality, double holed hook that would be difficult for your babe to remove- “Hello Safety!”. The hooks are decent size so they could definitely be utilized in other places like a pumpkin seat or stroller . The mat is lightweight and is easily able to be moved quickly. Assembling and disassembling is quick and easy, making this a great option when you also need to travel! I would highly recommend this product to anyone in search of a baby mat.

I cannot wait to use this play mat when my baby arrives! The material and quality is exactly up to my standards, and those are pretty high. It was easy to put together (I did it without instructions) and as I was putting it together I was inspecting every piece as I am picky with items my children interact with. There were no snags on the materials, no sharp edges, etc. I feel very comfortable and excited about using this mat when my baby arrives.

I love how gender neutral this play mat is. It has crinkley, super soft rattles, tags, a mirror, and great black and white accents/toys. So much fun sensory stuff for my infant. It has a non-slip backing, and is easy to assemble and take apart for washing or travel!! I absolutely love this play mat. The rings that connect the toy's are a soft flexible plastic and i think that is so smart incase they pull too hard it flexes.

There are no small parts so I’m quit when the baby plays. The pattern is very harmonic and beautiful. I’m in love with this mat.

This play gym is very well made with durable materials and great coloring. It was super easy to assemble and disassemble as well for easy storage. My daughter is a little bit older than the main target audience, but she adores this play gym. She has many baby dolls that she had “playing” in the gym and taking naps on the play mat. This was pretty simple to assemble and a very good size for a baby to roll around as they get bigger. I like the variety of toy attachments. Some are crinkly, some squeak, and theres also mirror and pillow! I would definitely recommend this product for new moms!

This little activity gym is adorable! It came with so many attachment pieces and a little booster pillow. So precious and I can’t wait to try it out. One thing that I did not like was how the box came completely smashed and open already on one side. The pad that goes on the bottom is very soft and fluffy so love that!
