I dont know...it wouldn't play in our Blu-ray player. It's kinda special to us...we were dressed as Tinman %26 Dorothy when proposed on my Halloween birthday. Planned on watching to celebrate our Engagement.

This could easily be one of the best-looking 4K transfers for a classic film. I'm stunned that an 80 year old film could look this good. There was a lot of care put into this transfer and WB has ensured that it will continue to live on for another 80 years.

Wonderful upgrade from my dvd from years ago. 4k makes the technicolor pop. On a side note. The description on the website is not that accurate. It does not come with a digital copy.

Unless the witch terrifies you, who doesn't love it. So the only real review here is picture quality. I thinks it's professor Marvel-ous! One I'll play a lot.

4K disappointment

The movie itself is great. However, I was disappointed in the picture I get. I've recently purchased a 4K ultra blu-ray tv and expected that the picture would be significantly sharper/ more vibrant/something over the regular dvd version of the movie, but it wasn't. That's not a fault of the disc I got, which played just fine.

This 4KUHD version of The Wizard of Oz was amazing on my big screen UHD TV!!!! The video is completely true to the original TV Broadcast.

Absolutely Superb!!

An absolutely superb digital master!!! The detail and color saturation of the original Eastman film stock was perfectly retained and the Western Electric optical sound track was enhanced to a level almost to current audio standards!
