Just ok. Not impressed.

This item is pretty small. Light and feels cheap. Magnets are not strong enough to keep it from sliding down my oven front. AND, the magnets fell out VERY SOON after I bought it. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Accurate and easy set up

Unit is easy to use with built in set points for meats and poultry and you also are able to change to your own temperature set points.

Delayed shipping

While the product was good, the delivery was poor. Apparently, walmart uses Fast Track Express Inc as a shipping partner, resulting in shipping delays that are not well communicated. Tracking indicated the order was stuck at fast track express in Jamaica NY for over a week after the order was placed. Once they released it to the USPS, it was promptly delivered. This happens a lot with my walmart orders. I can only ask "Why?"

Perfect Chicken Every Time

This is now one of our most useful kitchen appliances. We make perfect over chicken all the time. You just stick it in the oven and forget about it because the alarm goes off and it’s loud enough that we can hear it over the TV. I’d recommend pulling it out 10° before your meat reaches temperature and let it cook the rest of the way outside of the oven. It magnets to the outside of the oven which makes it relatively hands free.

Avoid unless you save the receipt.

It worked great the first couple of times, but then it started beeping saying the temp was too high, which it wasn't even close , Threw it away since I didn't save a receipt.

Do not recommend.

Be carful - the recommended cooking temperature on this unit is much higher than necessary. Meats will come out over cooked by almost 20 degrees.

Works very well. Great help when grilling or oven roast. Never again: undercooked chicken roast/grill
