Worked fine for a couple of years, then tried to take me OUT

Worked great for a few years, and worked good for a few days this season until yesterday when it popped the breaker. Investigated the issue and it had melted/melded with the outlet, shorted the circuit and luckily popped the breaker prior to starting a fire. Not sure why it happened as I have exactly the same lighting setup as previous years (actually a few bulbs less) so the load was the same or lower. The outlet was 26 years old, this unit was 3-4 years old, and it looks like they started overheating together and slowly melted into each other. Replaced the outlet and tossed this in the trash and all is back to normal.

Best Outdoor Timer

This has been a great addition for exterior string lights over our patio. Was the perfect solution.

Looking forward to Xmas decorations to use it sure will come in handy very nice item so glad I ordered it.

Sort of works.

Sort of works. The controller portion works fine. The remote is spotty. It seems like you need to squeeze the battery compartment to make it work and then maybe maybe not.

Solid performance but lacks some functionality.

Outdoor time does the job but instruction could be clearer. One shortcoming is that it is easy to turn on at dusk and off at dawn for lighting, however turning it on at dawn and off at dusk for a water feature cannot be accomplished automatically.

I got a real dud.

Sadly it didn't preform as expected. After the first day I noticed the lights flickering. By day two the plug wouldn't stay in the socket.

This has worked well for us.

I was not quite convinced I had set the timer up correctly, but it ended up doing just what I wanted. I almost decided against the purchase initially, but I did end up buying it & it has worked well.
