So disappointed in this light, it barely throws any light at all… Basically useless

The Westek Manual Switch LED Night Light with Clear Lens was useless the light bulb is very dim and does not supply very much light. I can get more light by striking a match.

Just perfect!

They work for what I need.

The Westek manual switch LED night light with clear lens is offered as a two-pack; due to the clear lens, the light produced appears to be daylight cast instead of an opaque or amber cast - despite they're small size, they're very bright at night. I do like the option of the manual switch because sometimes the night lights are on in the daytime if room doesn't get full sunlight.

The night light does what it is supposed to do and provide light at little energy use. I however would prefer the automatic dusk to dawn light so I would not have to be bothered with turning on and off. I put these at my mothers and just leave them on 24 Hours a day since they use hardly any power. The light they provide is only one lumen which is not nearly as bright as the old incandescent night lights that I really like because they have a warm natural light as compared to these that have a very cool white light. I also noticed that the shade falls off easily if bumped.

The manual switch LED night light with clear lens is an ideal night light for low-light situations where needed, such as bathrooms, hallways or bedrooms. The light is made by Westek, model NL-TIPI-C2, and has a manual switch. It does not have an automatic dusk-to-dawn option. Being LED, it uses very little electricity, runs cool, so it can be left on 24 hours per day. It is compact enough to put in your overnight toiletries bag for use on trips and overnight stays in hotels. It’s 3 1/8 inches tall. When plugged into the top outlet, there is sufficient room to still use the bottom outlet.

Smaller than I thought but they put out a great amount of light. Overall we are very happy with these. They definitely are subtle and don't bring too much attention when they are off; but at night we really enjoy having them help us navigate the darkness. Overall we are happy, pleased with the light, and are considering adding these to more areas of our home.

I found this manual switch led night light to be pretty average. Like most switchable night lights the ON/OFF switch is easily accessible on the front of the assembly. I was disappointed in the amount of light these particular LED lamps emitted. In my opinion, the amount of light was considerably less than light emitted from a non-led night light. Two night lights are provided in the package which we use to provide some lighting in our hallway and bathroom at night. Since these two areas are dark even during daylight hours the switch on the lamps allow us to turn them off so they do not run 24 hours a day. See attached photographs.

I LIKE THESE WITH THE MANUAL SWITCH BECAUSE WE HAVE A SECOND FLOOR HOME WHERE THESE CAN BE USED WHEN VISITORS COME FOR A STAY BUT LEFT OFF WHEN AREAS ARE'NT BEING USED. Nice, subtle night-light – not excessively bright to jolt you from your drowsiness (it puts out only 1 lumen of “cool” light.) See the attached photos (it is hard to get representative photos of light from nightlights!) Since this uses an LED, there is no need to replace bulbs. Note that this incorporates a manual on/off switch – it does not use a photo sensor to turn off when there is adequate ambient light. This is not necessarily an issue, as it only consumes 1/3 watt.

This review is for the TIPI manual switch LED clear night light made by WESTEK. Works great, better than expected. The night light uses a vertical manual on/off switch located on the base, so you can leave it plugged in all the time and just use the switch to turn it on/off, instead of having to unplug it and stick it in a drawer until you're ready to use it again. It uses a 1 lumen LED bulb that produces 5000k bright white light projected through a clear lens, providing plenty of light to see by in a dark room. Not sure if you can buy replacement LED bulbs for it, but it should last a long time with the LED bulb. I got the 2-pack, but they sell them in varying multiples.

Provides safe passage at night for intermittent sleepers like myself without disturbing others (minimally at least). Since even incandescent night lights use a negligible amount of power the attraction here is the longevity provided by led technology. They emit a white light with a bluish tint which seems more pleasing than the typical yellow glow of incandescent bulbs which unfortunately can't be captured correctly with a phone camera for whatever reason.

Very good. Light is not too bright. It seems the standard auto ones light the whole room. So this is a good medium amount of light. Light is a little blue. I like being able to turn it off to darken the room at nite and flip it on when needed because I have a counter level outlet by the sink for it.
