Glaze coating washes off, plates stain
These are beautiful plates and I spent a lot of money and got 3 sets. After almost a year of use, the glaze coating is coming off and the plates now absorb stains that I can’t scrub off. I thought this was an issue for one or two pieces, but all my plates have stains now. I am horrified and so disappointed. Mikasa quality is not what it used to be. I can’t not recommend, especially if you plan to use them daily and put them in the dishwasher (even though they say they are dishwasher safe). I am never buying Mikasa dishes again. This is my second set of dishes of a different style, thinking the quality would be better, and it’s even worse.
Love the pattern and quality of the dishes, except 1 plate was broken upon arrival.
Unexpected disappointment
Pattern is pretty but plates are too large for dishwasher (new Samsung)). We just received them today so are still figuring out if:

This is the perfect everyday dinner set! It's formal enough to use during a party but sturdy enough for everyday use. The pattern is not too feminine, just enough of a pop of color to bring your table to life. Can't go wrong with Mikasa!
