I was searching for a narrow, but not too narrow, sideboard for my dinning area. I’m so glad I went with this one. Assembly was a little tricky in some areas, but I was also pregnant so that probably didn’t help. We store all our extra holiday table decor, extra school/art supplies, tons of our family board games, the top drawers are used for the dog items…tracking collars, leashes, bandanas, etc. and then of course what home would be complete without the old fashioned “junk drawer” which is the top left on this cabinet. Probably my favorite furniture purchase lately because even at its price point, and ALL the things we have crammed into it, it’s still very sturdy and doesn’t wobble a single bit like some of the “cheaper” assembled furniture. We get compliments all the time. Especially when I clear the top off and use it as a hot cocoa bar, desert bar, or cake display area during parties. The green color is so subtle it could go with almost any decor. Definitely recommend.

This is the perfect size for my space. I am impressed with how sturdy it is once assembled. It took my husband and I less than 2 hours to assemble with a power screwdriver. Our only issue was one leg hole was missing the inset (hole too big) so the screw just dropped in. It does not affect the results. The doors lined up perfectly - based on other reviews we thought this might be an issue.

I received this product within the estimated time that overstock gave. Was excited to put it together. Upon checking to see if all parts were included, I had everything except 1 of the hardware parts. When I called, they gave me no problems and sent out the missing part, but I had to wait another week to receive it. Putting it together did take some time, but it looks so nice in my kitchen and fits perfectly where I wanted it. The one door doesn't hang exactly as it should, but I will live with it.(we think the predrilled holes were off). It had another small issue on the one door - there is a space where the pieces of wood came together and didn't fit perfectly so when painted there is a very small gap. Overall happy with it for the price.

This is a great deal. I had my husband purchase this for his insurance office as a coffee & beverage station. I added a custom cut piece of glass to the top to prevent damage from any spills. I’m very proud that I put this together myself (46 y/o female) in 2.5 hours. The pros: It’s a great value. It looks good, saved money assembling it myself, the instructions are very good with only two spots that need more clarification or a better picture. (I was able to navigate through with a little adjusting) The cons: The instructions need a couple adjustments and one of the magnetic door closures doesn’t connect well so any little bump or movement and the door opens. Overall very happy with it and clients often compliment it.

I was able to assemble the basic cabinet by myself, without the doors, in about three and a half hours. I like the fact that the drawers have stoppers so they don’t fall out and that the back panel has screws instead of nails. Additionally, it came well packaged and there was a small bag of extra connection pieces, if needed. The issues came when placing the hinges and doors on the cabinet. The left door went on correctly with only a small amount of being uneven or not level. When the right door was connected using the predrilled holes, it was very uneven and the handle was about 1/2 inch below the left door. It appears that the right door may not actually be square. In order to make it appear more square and have the handles closer in line, I had help to drill new holes for the right door hinges and add about a 1/4” shim to the bottom of the right hinge. This additional work made the door placement more even and improved the appearance of the cabinet.

This cabinet is very pretty and looks just like the picture. It has a soft ivory tone and works great in a small space. I really like it but wasn’t immediately blown away. Buyers should be prepared to crawl around the floor for a while because the assembly is no joke. It’s not a difficult process; just incredibly tedious. After sorting all the parts and deciphering the directions, it took my husband and I at least an hour (maybe more) and we worked at a very steady pace. While putting it together we noticed it had chemical-like smell. After the first 24 hours, it began to fade and was gone by day 3 or 4. Although unpleasant, it wasn’t horrible and it did go away. Also it was contained to the area surrounding the cabinet. I’m not writing this to discourage people from buying the cabinet. I think it’s a fabulous piece at a very affordable price. However, I recommend that it’s assembled in a basement or garage then left to air out for a few days.

Very pretty, sturdy, and a beautiful vibrant red. I changed the knobs to the porcelain ones pictured as I believe it gives it a higher end and more country look. I found the knobs on Amazon. If you plan on using replacement knobs, you will need to trim the screws if you plan on using the middle pegs for positioning the shelves. There is quite a bit of storage in this unit. I chose to put a couple of decor pieces on the shelves to avoid a cluttered look. You may not want to get this cabinet to use for storage you don't want people to see as the glass covers a large area. With that, I was still able to store quite a few items behind those decor pieces. The glass is sturdy but I would keep an eye on the little ones around it. The unit itself is heavy enough, particularly when filled, to be very stable. I would say this is moderately involved to assemble and you may want to have two people. The finish seems durable however I will be using a runner on the top when I use it for serving. I was able to accomplish the look in my photos for about $350.00. The shelves above are mango wood 30x11 inches and a perfect depth for the piece although my piece sits two inches off the wall because of the chair rail on my wainscot. I purchased the shelves online from Ballard Designs (sorry Overstock I just didn't find the look I needed from you). There was a small chip in the paint on a visible part of the sideboard. Overstock did offer to replace the damaged piece but after the first sideboard was mis-delivered I was not willing to wait so the folks at Overstock provided me enough funds to buy some touch up paint. I would highly recommend this piece.
