Great looking stool, but some construction, quality control issues

I purchased a set of two stools. The shipment was timely, they were well packaged and easy to assemble. The first stool I assembled turned out great and I was excited to assemble the second stool. As I was assembling the second stool, I noticed that the horizontal crosspieces did not fit as snugly to the stool legs as the first stool, but decided it was a minor issue and finished constructing the stool. However, when I put it beside the first stool, the height and the curve of the backs were not the same. Upon a closer look, the seat frame for the second stool was not correctly attached to the frame bracing and there was a slight gap between the seat and the back brace ( this is not a part of the customers\' assembly responsibility, but completed by the manufacturer.) The first stool did not have this problem. I need 3 stools, but they only come in sets of 2 or 4, so I had decided to just order 2 and see how they looked and if I liked them go ahead and order 2 more and use the extra somewhere else. Now I am on the fence as to how to proceed - if I go ahead and order 2 more and they turn out like the first stool, no problem, but if they too have issues; what a hassle to return!

Perfect for our space

After trying a few other styles, we decided we wanted counter stools without arms so we could swing our legs around. We also wanted something that would tuck under the counter. These stools are attractive, sturdy, simple, classic. They don’t beg to be star of the show. Four of them fit nicely across our 8’ island. No crowding. Foot rest is in right spot at right height. They were easy to assemble. I heartily recommend.

Needed a little reenforcing

Really like the look of theses stools, easy to assemble however one stool needs shims as not level and the other needed som reenforcing as the seat/ base were not assembled correctly there is gap and the screws keep falling out. But since they are inexpensive and the look I’m looking for we are keeping them and just using some wood glue and replacing screws that are falling out with new ones and using a shim on the other. Just know you may need to do some tweaking to make work.

Looks like the high end ones!

We have had these for a few weeks and love how they look! They look just as nice as the high end ones for half the price.

They look great and are comfy! They slide underneath my kitchen island for easy storage.

Works fine but needed shimming

These chairs look good and work fine under our kitchen island countertop. They were a little involved to assemble but not overly complex. When put together, both had about 1/4\" of daylight under one leg when the other three were on a level floor. I put felt-bottomed pads under the legs instead of the hard plastic pieces as I have a wooden kitchen floor. Shimming the \"short\" leg with a washer or two made everything level.

Great stool for counter

The wooden stool fits the counter height bar. It has great quality and is sturdy and stylish. Goes well with most kitchen styles as long as you have wooden cabinets. Easy to install with the user manual.

I really like this product it sas so easy to put together, and it was super cheep. It arrived at my house so fast and I love the color of the wood and also the materials it was made from. Ten out of ten would recommend .

using as kitchen stools!

After my kitchen stools broke since they were really crooked, I got new ones and they’ve been pretty sturdy and non creaky. They don’t make a lot of sounds when I place them down or sit back. I m pretty impressed at its quality.

Great quality, style and value!

Came a couple days early. Packaging was very good. Instructions simple and easy to follow. Set up both stools in 15 minutes total. I\'m a 275# man and felt well supported and comfortable. Chairs came with nylon slides to protect the floor. Modern / mid century style that is classic yet fresh and new feeling. Highly recommend.

I bought four chairs together, and it is becoming the dreaming kitchen island for me! The material and quality is great, and look so so so nice! I didn’t spend too long for the installation. By the way, an electric screw driver helped a lot!
