Large marble glass shade was completely shattered upon opening styrofoam packaging that itself was partially shattered. Bowl was placed on top of metal based upon original packaging and then apparently squeezed into outer package far too tightly. Fortunately, I was able to return the package, minus the broken glass, to my local store thanks to service reps. VERY POOR packaging.
I would buy this again and/or give as a gift.
It's just what we needed for a dark corner in our living room and the reading light will help with my return to reading books. It's a beautiful and well made lamp.
