Purchased this to hide cement and Love the Look!

I just purchased this square outdoor patio rug in blue for the covered entry to our home. We have a 1955 brick rambler and it looks very good with the brick, elevating the space significantly. I purchased it partially to hide the cement which will need some work to look its best again, but would be happy to lay this rug back afterwards because of the welcoming, refined feel it adds to our entry- and my husband and children also like its look.

Soft feel weaved outdoor rug

The material is a softer weaved material. There is no pile. Edges are simply folded over an sewn to make a border, so is only one-sided. It is very fluid and soft, so when laid over my uneven patio stones, it is seeming to take the shape and possibly may stretch in those areas. I pretty much only search for Safaveih rugs since I've had great experience with many I have purchased, so although this isn't exactly what I was picturing, I'm hopeful the quality and brand will be worth it after using for a while. It does look nice and hope it will clean easily.

Stylish & durable atea rug:indoor/outdoor

Very stylish area rug. We've now used it on our patio for several seasons & it has proven to be extremely durable. It's also nice that we've received many compliments regarding the unique design. You can't go wrong with any Safavieh product- quality all the way.

Waste of money!!

What a waste of money. I have had this rug on my deck for the past 4 months and when we start putting away all the deck furniture next week, this rug will go to the curb for trash pickup. The rug began to break down in August, leaving white powder all over the deck and feet. I have purchased Safavieh in the past but their products are becoming cheap. Very disappointed.

Attractive & well-made area rug!

Attractive indoor/outdoor rug. I am currently using indoors in my sunroom, it's pretty and goes well in there. It should last a long time indoors, however, I may eventually use it on the patio. Safavieh rugs are excellent. They look and feel like a much more expensive product, I know as a friend of mine works in the carpet industry. He'd get me a hefty discount, but it's still insanity how much those rugs are, Safavieh gives you the look for a reasonable price.

Attractive rug

The rug arrived well-wrapped in heavy plastic, and was delivered several days early which is unusual these days. It was just as pictured, the deep sage green color is very close to color as shown on Overstock website). Pattern is large and bold, but not so busy as a lot of other outdoor rug designs. We are using it under cover in a three-sided garage-carport, out of the sun and rain, so I am not concerned about fading as mentioned in other reviews. It's very easy to sweep clean. I like it so much, I might order one for the basement music room.

Good quality and durability

Love the color, red. It is quite showy and lays flat to the concrete. I bought several different sizes for the pool and each size has worked out great! We have had a lot of rain but so far the rugs have not looked damaged or struggling with being wet many days in a row. Time will tell, but the Safavieh brand is an excellent brand for outdoors. I've bought this brand before and the rugs lasted for 5 years outside under a porch, but did get rained on and did have sun during the day. A great product! Holds up well to the elements.

Design is nice, low quality rug

I purchased the round rug for my office. I was disappointed that it is thin and lacks quality. The rug is made of cheap polyester. Design is nice, though it took some serious ironing with w/ damp towel for several days to get the creases out. I am keeping it only because of the design and the fact the return process sux where you do not get a refund without penalty, on site credit. This is like the 4th item I have ordered from O and have had to return 2 of them. Not a big fan so far.

Unusual, and beautiful pattern on this round rug

This rug has been outside, underneath my patio set all summer and fall, and really looks great. It hasn't been in direct sun very many hours out of each day, and I haven't noticed any fading. It is special because of the unusual pattern, and really makes my patio furniture look special. It is July 2018 now... It faded badly after the summer of 2015, by 2017 the threads were showing and it lost it's pattern. Summer is very hot (90-100 avg) and dry in Boise ID. It was put away in the garage for 4-5 months a year. I have been looking for a replacement for several months now...

So sad, completely fell apart

I am not sure if the company changed manufacturers, but this rug is complete garbage now. Purchased on about 7 years ago, used it indoors for the first couple years, then outdoor for over a year. Seemed to be holding up great in the unforgiving Colorado sun. But then my husband ran over it with the lawn mower so we had to replace it. Ordered the exact same rug, and at first it looked just a great. But after just a few months, it started to fade dramatically and fray. It looks like a pile of beige fibers now. SO disappointed! Oh yes, and it dyes dog fur red. First few times it happened, we thought our dog was bleeding, but nope. It was the crappy rug.
