The chair is pretty and does well with my other furniture, I really liked it. I struggled a little bit when I was putting it together but overall it came out nice

This black contemporary barstool was easy to assemble. I used the tools provided and a drill to put it together in 40 minutes by myself. It is the perfect height for my standing desk. The seat cushion is comfortable. The modern style matches my decor perfectly. Having a backrest is important to me and provides relief for my back and neck.

The chair was easy to assemble and looks cute. I’m not a fan of barstools myself since I prefer shorter chairs to sit on to be comfortable but this is nice piece to own and I do like that it has a back to it.

I received the Contemporary Barstool complimentary to test and review from Influenster. The assembly was pretty straightforward. Putting it together was very easy on the hands. I was very happy to see that they included washers with the hardware to assemble the chair. Some of the holes weren't tapped very well, I struggled with putting the bottom rungs in and they don't seat very tight. The chair is very sturdy. It's absolutely gorgeous. I love the sleek black color. The seat itself is very wide and can fit an extra large butt. Myself being 6 ft I had to get up on a tiptoe to be able to put my butt cheek up on it. The padding is plush and luxurious. It doesn't annoy the butt bones, as I just had my hamstring reattached. It has very large plastic tabs on the bottom of the legs. It slides and glides very easily without leaving marks on the floor. This is a beautiful addition to my contemporary household.

I think it's a really cute bar stool. Very sturdy! Very well made. It'sgonna look really good in my new home. I plan on purchasing another one to match. At first, out of the box, it looked like it was gonna be hard to put together, but it was quite easy. Instructions are clear easy to follow. I definitely recommend this product!

We ordered these chairs because the seat height was perfect for our new 42" high pub-style dining...

We ordered these chairs because the seat height was perfect for our new 42" high pub-style dining room table. They were relatively easy to put together (although I wish they used something else besides allen head screws for the majority of the hardware; those little wrenches are hard on the hands after a bit). Only one out of the 4 doesn't sit squarely on the floor and rocks a bit - maybe the plastic peg on the bottom of the feet isn't seated at the same depth as the others? We're not quite sure why. One issue we DO have with these chairs is that the slight flare to the back legs makes it REALLY easy to catch your toes and trip on them as you walk by. Granted, our dining room is small, but I think these would be just as effective with a straight-leg design all around. All in all, they feel solid and I hope they last us for a while.

Dont Stub your toe

The screws keep falling out. Everyone hits their foot on the legs because they curve out so much. Not a day does by that someone doesn't stub their toe and yell at the chairs.

I really like these chairs. I would of given them an excellent except for the fact that assembling them was a bit tricky because of the way they are made but after one I got the hang of it. Very nice chairs for the price.
