The style and color fits nicely with our dining chairs. Good quality for the price. One of the chairs arrived damaged but a replacement was sent immediately. We received great customer service.

Pretty good! Looks just like the picture. Had trouble with one of the stools with the holes lining up.

Good product for the price. Easy to assemble, although some of the components are not particularly well-engineered (the stretchers on one of the chairs didn’t line up correctly; had to work hard at getting some of the screws in). But a good size, comfortable, and worth the effort.

Wrong legs shipped? Side spindles do not fit properly.

We ordered two of these stools and were pleased with the quality and price. However, where the tenons of the two side spindles assemble into the front legs, either the mortise holes were machined in the wrong place or the company shipped us parts from a different stool. The side spindles do not install horizontally, as shown in the picture, but at an akward angle, and the joints fit poorly. We like the stools enough that we had a carpenter drill out new holes at the correct height.

Good but not great

Bought 2 of these chairs and 2 very similar but a different height. Chairs are good, but not great. some chairs are very good, but some the pieces just don't fit together correctly. They are sturdy and look good, but if you look closer you see where some pieces just don't come together correctly. At this price, I expected more.

These seem pretty sturdy and high quality! Time will tell if they last, but my first impression is that they look great and I’m happy with my purchase. They were pretty easy to put together as well.

A little hard to put together. You will need two people. A drill is required to put on the seat. Overall good quality , I would recommend.

Bar stools

We needed 2 extra chairs for our island. These were on sale so I ordered them. My husband put them together. I didn’t hear any swearing, so it must not have been too hard. They are comfortable, and sturdy up to 275 lbs.

Splintered Wood, wobbly

Ordered 4 of them. They showed up and pieces had splintering wood, the seats had white residue on them that took forever to clean off before we started putting them together, then when we put them together the legs and cross pieces didn't line up correctly so they ended up being VERY wobbly and unusable. Very disappointed in quality of product.

I was a little skeptical about these because of the the great price! But honestly these have been some amazing chairs. My kids move them around and play with them and they are very durable, they don't break and they are so easy to clean off. I've always loved black everything because it doesn't ever look dirty even tho I clean them wince a week. They are super comfortable and they don't scratch the hard wood floors! If you are looking for something with great quality that does not break the bank, go with these!

Good high top or counter stool

These stools go together fairly easily and are very sturdy. There is a gap as mentioned in other reviews from the leg to the side rail. It doesn't appear to effect the use and they are a good value for the price. We also liked that you could but them individually (as opposed to others that come in sets) as we only needed three.

cute bar stools

We love the barstools. They are quite sturdy. The only thing that wasn't great was the weight limit on the website was over 300 lbs. The box said 250 lbs. I actually bought these barstools because of the higher weight limit and then found it that was incorrect information.

Product Faulty

The quality of the product appears okay. Seems to be sturdy. However, I purchased two of these stools and they both have the holes on the back drilled incorrectly. Which means you either have to wait 60 days to get a replacement, pay $** to return it to Overstock or improvise. I am choosing the latter option. First and last time ordering furniture from Overstock.

I love love these chairs. Great price for 2. Easy to assemble. Great height for my breakfast bar. They are comfortable. It comes with everything you need to assemble but I like using power tools 😁 instead.

Be prepared for extra drilling.

Very good quality. Assembly with allen head bolts was a piece of cake, but when the assembly switched over to wood screws it became a problem. I had to drill every hole deeper or the screws would not seat. And the panhead combination straight/phillips slots were horrible. Beautiful when finally assembled.

Perfect for our new bar.

This barstool is perfect for our new island. The color is goes with our kitchen decor and the bar. It is just the right height. We are still waiting for UPS to deliver the second one. I'm sure it will be great too. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to pay through the nose for a barstool that will be good looking and functional.

Good value for the price.

Overall we are happy with this purchase. The stools are made of a dense, sturdy hardwood that looks like it will hold up well. Assembly was easy and took about 12 minutes per stool. The stools are assembled with pocket screws and require about 16 screws. Of the four stools we ordered and the 16 or so connections per stool only one screw was stripped and I had to epoxy the tenon into the mortise, which will actually make the joint stronger than the original but not how installation was designed to go. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that the shoulder tenons on the leg stretchers don't match the profile of the legs leaving a gap. But for a stool at this price point that's a small issue and probably not important to a non-woodworker. The stools look great in their location. For the price I think this product is a good buy and I would recommend it.
