Doesn’t work well and is loud. Not impressed with the way I thought I would be considering it is a Toshiba product. Also, 6 hours is a short timer to use.

I have had this air purifier for a couple of weeks, so I've had plenty of time to check it out. First, I really like the different colored lights that tell you about your air quality. I have a number of indoor pets, so my air quality seems to stay between the red and orange. I've had it go to the green but it has never been on the blue. So, it might be important for people buying this to consider going with a higher square footage one if they have a number of environmental factors in their house such as pets, people who smoke, or a large family in a not so big space. I do like that it doesn't take up a great deal of space and that it has a timer that is easily set. Overall, it seems to work well and I have not had any trouble with it in the two weeks I've had it.

This air purifier by Toshiba arrived just in time for flu season. Assembly was straightforward following the instruction guide, which takes a moment. After that it's plug and play. Powered on for the first time, the light at the front of the unit cycles through all the colors before steadying to a blue color and entering auto mode. There are four colors with each color indicating a certain condition.

We used the Toshiba H13 in my son's room because he has rhinitis and wakes up every morning with a runny nose. I can say that ever since I put this in his room, he has woken up feeling better most of the time. We also have 3 cats and 4 guinea pigs which cause dander and allergies to other family members who visit so we've had them stay in another bedroom with this air purifier and it helps a little. It's very quiet and has several speeds. You'll hardly realize it's on. I haven't had to clean the filter yet.

Needed an air purifier for my upstairs hallway. Love this one. It is the perfect size and is great in white. Easy to assemble and is not loud. The highest fan even is not the loudest I have owned. Great quality

Four status light colors show what condition the air is in, although I sometimes get different statuses when I compare manual and automatic modes. Once the light stays blue, the machine can be turned off unless there’s active bad air creation to continually combat like mold, smoking etc..

The air purifier filters stagnant air. In terms of counter or floor space, it takes up about the same amount of space as an air frier or electric pressure cooker (but taller). On higher settings it is a bit noisy. The noise didn't bother me, but it's audible. It feels cooling to the air space.

The first thing to notice is that the night mode is super quiet. You can't tell if it is working. The automatic feature is awesome too. The fan speed gets adjusted based on the air quality level. The design is simple yet elegant. It is made of a high quality durable plastic. It's light weight and easy to carry around. The most important part of the air purifier the filtration system is very basic, just a basic one stage filter. If you are looking for a basic air purifier then this is the go to item.

Works great for small rooms, struggles for a larger room. It's nice having the light on the outside of it to show you the air quality of the room. It runs very quiet and you can barely hear it. Overall nice to use in our bedroom and can definitely tell a difference when sleeping.

I am impressed with how quiet the motor is on this air purifier. It was so easy to put the purifier together pulling it out of the box. You easily put the filter in the bottom, and click the top on and it is ready to go. There are several setting on the top, but all you really need is the Auto. Then it just runs quietly, and has the fan on a slow setting. I like that it's constantly slowly moving the air around to purify it.

Needed a purifier for my husband’s office. My animal lover/rescuer husband brought a cat home (unplanned, as is his way). We had no idea cat litter dust would be an issue, but it is. I needed something to help clean the air that would work and not kill our wallet. This was a great size for his office and a decent price. I do see a noticeable difference in his room, so it is cleaning the air. Very easy to install the filter. There are several options to choose from: timer, night mode, fan speed, etc… Every evening I turn it on and set the timer for 2 hours. The lowest fan speed is very quiet. Highest is definitely audible. It says to vacuum the filter every week. I bring it outside and tap it. I see the dust floating away. Then I vacuum it and place it back inside. Super easy. Not sure you can trust the lights that tell you if the air is clean or not.

This air purifier comes with a fan and surprisingly it works better than I thought! As the air gets better in the room, it does feel cooler even it’s not on, and the purifier has timer, the purifier has 3 level of speed, the middle one and the last one is very quite, you can’t noticed it’s running unless you put it on high. Will recommend for small office or in the house, it’s very easy to use.

I had to wait a couple of weeks before writing this review because it was so quiet I wasn`t sure if it was working. But as I sit here today, it is working awesome! When I first got it, it was easy to setup. I chose the automatic mode which if I didn't feel the top where air comes out I would swear it wasn't on. It's that quiet of course until you cook bacon. Now it's adjusting itself to the smoke in the air going faster and slower. Now I'm sure it works! Of course there's different settings, even a sleep mode. But I'm liking the audio set.

This purifier will help clean the air you are breathing by removing pet dander, pollens and smoke. There is LED light on the front of the unit to signal the quality of the air you are breathing. Red, orange, green and blue with red being the worst and blue being the best. The unit is easy to put together. It runs quiet and does the job that it is supposed to do with the air. It has a great control panel that is easy to use. The fan has 3 different settings to chose from. You can set a timer so that it only runs when you want it to run. This feature is wonderful in the bedroom. This purifier has a HEPA filter which no one has a replacement for sale. On that fact alone, I can't recommend this unit. If the HEPA filter would be for sale somewhere, it would be a great unit to have in your home.

What I love about the Toshiba Air Purifier is that it has a HEPA filter and states that it removes 99.97% of microscopic allergens. With the aerodynamic design, the information states, it is up to 20% more efficient than the traditional air purifier.

The Toshiba H13 True HEPA Air Purifier for up to 215 Sq. Ft., with Air Quality Sensor & 6-Hr Timer seems to be a healthier approach to my breathing. I am a COPD patient and this is recommended for my disease. I can not physically tell the difference yet for I have only had it for about a week.I have checked the Hepa filter and by the amount of particles it has removed from the air, I would say it is a healthy addition to my space.

[Rewarded Review] Quiet operation and excellent purification

I was pleased with how easy this was to set up. It has so many great features for a compact size air purifier. The 2/4/6 hour timer is a terrific option on this model. It has a special charcoal filter and three different speeds to really purify the air quickly. It even senses the surrounding air quality and will display (best quality to worst quality) blue, green, orange or red so you can see.This made such a big difference in my lower level living space really fast. You can actually smell how fresh the air is coming out of the purifier. It even has a sleep mode where the lights lower so you can use it at night without it bothering or disturbing your sleep. In addition, you don’t need to guess when the filter needs to be replaced because the filter replacement light will alert you. In between they recommend that you wipe clean the HEPA filter at least twice a month if you’re using the unit regularly. This is a great option for a bedroom or any living space from a dorm to a lower level family room like mine.

This HEPA air filter was very easy to set up straight out of the box. All I had to do was remove the plastic from the round filter in the base and place it back in there. There was no trying to figure out which way to put the filter in as it just sits there. Then I picked up the top of the unit and set it on the base. It snaps into place with an audible snap so that you know it's connected. There is a button on one side that you press to release the top from the bottom to clean or replace the filter. Can't get any simpler than that. The unit itself doesn't take up much room as it's only 14" tall, 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" square and weighs about 11 pounds. It has a removable adapter cord that can be replaced if needed. There is a back cover plate that opens up to reveal a small black filter that measures 2" x 1 1/2". I'm not really sure exactly what this does and the booklet only mentions a "back cover plate" on the 'Product Introduction" page. The manual that comes with this isn't very helpful; in fact, the usage instructions are only 2 1/2 pages long. But I guess the company is saying that you don't really need a lot of instructions as it's very easy to use it.

[Rewarded Review] Very nice design and quiet

I put this air purifier in my R.V. due to my allergies with dust and pollen and because of its small 241 square ft. area of filtering. I like the modern design that it is a lot quieter than my 15-year-old model even on its highest fan speed setting. It has an automatic mode, air quality sensor, timer, sleep mode and filter reset my older model doesn't have which is nice. The "automatic" mode adjusts the fan speed according to the air quality. The light blue colored light indicates excellent while a green light is good, orange is medium, and red is poor quality which you can turn off if you don't prefer the light ambience. I do recommend checking on the price and availability on replacement filters for this model as it's a main deciding factor when buying an item like this. I could not find a part number anywhere in the user's manual or box for a replacement filter, and the numbers on the filter itself didn't provide any results so I put in "H13 TRUE HEPA filter" and several types came up, slightly different with varying range of prices.
