I’ve had these for a few years now. I use them weekly and are my favorite set I always reach for. They’ve held up very nicely, sent through the dishwasher hundreds of times and still work and look like new. Great product!

Does stay closed

It works well as designed and the lip that allows you to set it down without the tip touching the surface is a nice feature. When you close it to put it away, it doesn’t stay closed but pops open.

Good quality, smooth edges, grips food easily. The silicone tips withstand cooking heat as stated. Easy to wash by hand and dishwasher safe.

Despite paying so much, the quality of the tongs is unlike the one which I bought from the departmental store. The tongs opens by itself despite pulling the lever at the bottom

I have two silicone tongs that are too thick and only close along the edge. When you try to pick up more than one item, asparagus for example, everything falls out of the tongs. When I saw how these tongs works I knew it was just what I wanted. It has a nice grip on what you are picking up so less chance of things falling back into hot oil or boiling water. I will probably buy another one soon.

Absolutely love these tongs with silicone finishes- to protect my nonstick cookware, a locking mechanism that is easy to release and even a little resting stand. Perfect pair! DO recommend!

The tongs were exactly what my daughter wanted. She called to say she loves them. Who knew?

Good tongs but…

These tongs are well made and sturdy. Easy to wash. I bought these because they have a thumb rest which eases fatigue in your hand while cooking. I wish they had placed it a little higher up.
