Sadly, disappointed

This seemed like a beautiful product from the images online; however, I had 2 big disappointments with this purchase. First of all, the delivery service refused to take the box up the few stairs to my front door. So they left me with a heavy box, very easy for 2 strong guys to carry, but impossible for my 120 lbs to carry up the stairs. I had to open the box and carry the table up in pieces. Not happiness. It was pretty easy to assemble and came with straightforward instructions (important to read them, because the method of assembly is NOT intuitive. You have to build it upside down starting with the top piece). Once it was together, i saw my 2nd big disappointment. The top piece as fine abrasions all across the top, as if someone rubbed it with something rough like a pot cleaning pad. So, my choice i guess it to disassemble, box it all up, and get someone to help me carry it out and return it. Very unlikely! So Im here with a pretty expensive table that looks like I bought it second hand at a flea market..... Disappointed, Wayfair!!!
