It’s a lemon squeezer, right? So it’s hard to be gushy about something that juices lemons. Let’s forget about the lemons and comment on its beauty instead. It is elegantly made: symmetrical, well-finished, from a lovely piece of cherry wood that looks like it was chosen for its grain and aesthetics. If feels *good* in the hand, and is the right size and proportions to juice lemons all day – if one has to. Even as an « object d’art » it is quite lovely sitting on the countertop. Oh, and it squeezes lemons quite effectively too, thank you very much.

Finally! Alessis beautiful fruit squeezer is mine! This is a classic example of a great object that fulfills its use perfectly. I have it out on my counter where I can see it every day.

Irgendwie ist mein 1. Alessi Zitronenpresser abhanden gekommen und da habe ich gemerkt, ohne geht nicht! Das Format is handlich, passt in jede Schublade, einfach zum Reinigen und presst jeden letzten Tropfen aus der Zitrone. Ich liebe dieses Teil
