very upset

It is almost two years since the purchase and every vacuuming collects almost an ounce of a dreadful fine gray dust. How/why on Earth that dust got there and in such quantity that it never ends? How is that possible?? Not to mention the never ending shedding!...

Beware, this rug is not as pictured or described. The rug delivered is totally green not a deep sage color. Also, the rug is listed from Switzerland and really is from China. I'm having to now go through the hassle of returning. I'm calling overstock as they are charging me for the return cost which I'm going to appeal.

Great Quality!

I have owned this rug for many years and it has held up well to foot traffic. The pattern and colors are attractive and will not overwhelm your decor. The rug is thick and heavy - It easily lays flat (stays in place) and I have found it does not need a pad on our hardwood floor. Very Good Purchase!

This the the best rug I have ever purchased

I ordered 2 of these, I would have purchased more in different sizes but I got the last 2. Rug is thick, plush, lovely ivory back drop. Sheds at beginning. Description of rug says made in Switzerland but tag on rug said made in China so not sure how that happened. Looks beautiful on hard wood floors. Would highly recommend.

Seven Years and Still Beautiful

We've had this rug in front of the sofa for the past seven years, first over tile, now over hardwood. Apart from normal soiling, it is wearing very well and helps warm up and anchor the furnishings. The color is considerably lighter than the picture, more of a light yellow, but works well in our family room.

Folded and Weird Colors

1. I do not understand why an $$$ rug is folded instead of rolled. I'm still trying to get the creases out of the product.

Gorgeous rugs

This 5x8 rug is beautiful. The colors are nothing like the webpage shows. The background is a mossy green with ivory, terra cotta, cranberry red, peachy pink, greyish sage, darker olive green,saphire blue and tan accents. The only noticable silk is in selected ivory accents, otherwise the rug appears to be solidly wool. This rug is thick and plush, with no shedding problems to note. It is a gorgeous living room rug.

Best Rug Ever

This is probably the best purchase I have ever made on Overstock. This rug is absolutely beautiful, and made very well. It doesn't list how many knots per square inch, but I would guess 125-135. The rug is HEAVY! The weight is over 100 lbs. It is almost impossible to maneuver alone, especially when trying to move it on top of the rug pad I bought to go under it.I was concerned about buying a rug and trusting the colors shown on the monitor, but all the other reviews were very helpful and correct in their color descriptions. The black is true black, and the burgundy is dark and rich.If it helps, the narrow color at the edge is black, then the next band is rust, (which isn't shown in the picture), next is sage, then burgundy, sage, rust, then the black center.The rug has a tag on it the says it is A Safavieh, Traditions Collection, Design TD602C. 100% Wool, with silk.You can't go wrong with the purchase, and the price is amazing for the quality.

traditional rug

This rug is beautiful. It is very traditional and looks great with my round table. It is very plush and feels great on your feet. The back round is a creamy off white. I was expecting very warm fall colors like gold¿s greens and rust colors. But they are more of mauve, light green, dark green, some pink and gold¿s. The photo does not show any white but many of the floral and leaves are outlined in white. And I mean a brilliant white, it¿s like it is highlighted. Maybe this is the silk portion. I actually love this unexpected touch as I have white wainscoting on the lower portion of my wall in the dining room. In the photo what looks to be a rust color is actually mauve. There is rust color in the rug but a very small amount. My upper wall color is a paprika shade. So the mauve and pink shades really disappointed me. I have grown to love the rug and added accessories to tie all the colors together. The quality is unbelievable for this price. To me, with my budget this is a lot to pay for a rug and it was a hard decision to make, but I do not regret my purchase. I hope maybe my description of the colors will help you to decide if this will work for you. Other than the colors, the rug is identical to the photo.
