It would be great in a child's room too!

I have this bookcase in the bathroom, of all places! This guest bathroom has three empty walls. Why not have something interesting for a guest to look at while using the toilet?

Aesthetically pleasing

I love this desk. I would have given 5 stars if it was not so difficult to put together, if the directions were helpful and if I did not have to pay more than 1/2 of what I bought the desk for to hire someone to put it together.

A good purchase

Matches picture in website. Made of particle board so it is quite porous and the pieces are lightweight. Not too long or hard to put together. Appears quite sturdy and it is holding a lot of books. I put the heaviest ones on thew bottom.

Look is nice but quality lacking for price

Looks pretty good but not very stable. Probably won't last in a move. Disappointed that it is not sturdier given the price. Ikea shelves aren't as interesting to look at but they go together better. My item had a piece drilled wrong so we had to make our own holes on that one. Definitely a two-person build job.

Great product.

Assembled the bookcase and placed it on it's side horizontally. It was very easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear. My son and I organized the parts on the floor which made assembly a breeze. It took about 40 minutes. Great product....very happy with my purchase.

Poor quality, poor customer service

The quality is not what I had hoped, the boards feel hollow and it is a very fake-looking "wood" grain. Worse than the quality though is the fact that FOUR pieces of "wood" were missing from the box such that I couldn't even put the shelf together and it has now been sitting on my floor for two weeks while I wait for Overstock to resolve. Their solution was to have me repackage everything and take the 70lb package back to UPS myself. I'm not please.

Beautiful and easy to build bookcase

This bookcase is exactly what I wanted! It came boxed well and all the individual pieces were well labeled which made constructing it a breeze! At first it seemed really daunting with all the pieces, but again the instructions were easy to follow and we finished within 45 minutes. It comes with two fabric straps to attach to the wall which I did not personally love, was hoping for a bracket instead, but it works. The color is beautiful and offers so much space for decor. Would recommend!

Great buy

Great price, quality, and style. Instructions were all pictures but pretty easy to follow. Took a little over 2 hours to do and I'm usually terrible at putting things together. Plus it was late and my husband wasn't able to help since he was at work. He was impressed I had put it up so by myself.

This is a really pretty and sturdy bookshelf. I am petite but was able to put it together by myself in about an hour and a half. It would probably be easier (mostly for lifting because it's sold, so it's not the lightest) if you have a little help from someone. I love the look and the grey color.

Great Look! Just an assembly puzzle!

Just arrived and I have completed the assembly process. Four stars ONLY because I found the printed instructions a little difficult to follow. The cover illustration is reversed from the final diagram and there is no indication on the pieces as to left or right which creates a definite "puzzle problem" to figure out in the arrangement of the cubes before the bottom and sides go on. I would recommend more glue as well. As a retired high school administrator, the problem was certainly not that I could not read---it just took a little longer for this 67 year old female to solve this spatial challenge! I love the modern, asymmetrical look though!

Good buy for the money

This was a good buy for the money. Putting it together took a decent amount of time and effort but the instructions were easy to follow and everything lined up the way it was supposed to. Quality is fairly good, but there are some small flaws and I'm not terribly thrilled about just covering all the screws with stickers - it's better than seeing them i guess. If you're not up close and looking for the stickers you don't really see them though.

Beautiful, great quality, and value!

My husband and I bought one and we loved it so much that we bought a second one to cover one corner of our loft. The bookcases are rather lightweight and so easy to put together. It took us less than an hour to assemble one. I highly recommend it! :)
