Instructions were terrible . Some screws missing . No one to call to get screws replaced . Item would be good if all screws were there and instructions were clear

Lots of design problems

Looks pretty online but putting it together was bad. The pre drilled holes, were missing in many areas. Threads missing on many of the bolts.

Instructions don’t match up! Too many pieces!

Step 1 on the instructions was incorrect. The piece was predrilled wrong. You can’t get passed the first step! I wished I had read the reviews on this prior to purchasing the writing desk! Do not buy! Waste of energy and time!

Desk review

I believe the quality of the desk is what we should expect it to be for the amount of money paid. Putting the desk together was a bit of work but at the end the desk looks really nice. Not all pieces fit perfectly but my husband was able to put it together, after all. I am happy with it.

Great desk. Great compartments. Very stylish.

Might need an expert to assemble it.

It's not easy to assemble. The parts don't come together very easily. Any you can see where it's not aligned. Drives me a little bonkers. I wish the pieces were straight but it's crooked.

It's not wood

It's not driftwood at all! It's particle board covered in a kind of plastic durable contact paper. Took forever to assemble and it only looks ok. Maybe it's durable.

You're going to get what you pay for

It looks good and will be just fine in a guest room. It took 4 hours to put together. I am handy, but did is by myself. The pre-fab work leaves a lot to be desired; holes don't line up for the hinges which creates a less than desired motion. Same for the drawer: Works well if you only pull it out half way. Any further and the rails catch and stop working.

This desk took too long to put together and became frustrating. Some of the plastic vinyl covering that makes it look like woods is already scraped off or bubbling. Luckily it's not in spots that you directly notice right away. The drawer also doesn't slide in and out correctly. The opening panels on the top are a cool feature in theory, but you have to put it together perfectly in order for it to open and close properly and be flush with the middle panel. I probably would have sent this back but it took too long to put together and I do not want to have to spend more time taking it apart.

I purchased this Analiese Desk a few weeks ago and I have been very happy. The Desk is very functional and attractive. For the price that I paid its also very well made.
