Now that a repairman nailed glides on the chair legs, no more loud screeching when we move them. And no more cutting my thighs on the wire protuberances hanging from the folded leaves. He taped over them with pads I gave him.😊👍

Great table. Quality wood. To get the chairs level, I had to put the screws and not tighten all the way, then have someone sit in the chair while I tightened the screws. Otherwise, the chair wasn't even.

Why the grooves?

Hate the cut grooves in the table... They must have been a manufacturing defect... but other than that the table is nice. Strong and stable. Easy to assemble.

This table is beautiful! I had been searching for the perfect table for our new home that could last for years. I knew I wanted something solid wood, and with some "character" to it. When this one arrived, I knew I picked the right one! Two people will need to work together to put it together because it is very heavy. The insert works really nicely and we will probably leave it open all the time. There are some small decorative grooves in the top that might bother some people, but it just adds to the character in my opinion. The edges are smooth and rounded exactly as the pictures show. The color is gorgeous and will be easy to match chairs too. I was thrilled with price, since I got it on sale, used a coupon, and applied my Overstock member $ towards it. The table shipped immediately and I received it within days! Overall, would definitely recommend and I can't wait to host my first game night! PS. The light above it in the photo came from Overstock, too!

The table is sturdy but was broken.

The table looks beautiful and is very sturdy. I had to exchange this table for a different style because the leaf opening broke while we were setting it up. The table has a cheaper style of sliding open that broke immediately. It is a very heavy table also. I was able to exchange the table with another style.

Great Table

We have enjoyed our dining room table. I love the way the extension can be folded within the table. I gave it a 4 Star because my husband had to glue part of the compartment where the leaf hides with some wood glue because it was split. Easy fix, but shouldn't have had to do that with a new product.

Not super impressed with NFM!

Like the table but I don't LOVE it. A piece broke off the side where the table comes together the first time I put the butterfly leaf out. Also got a chip on the top of the leaf at the same time. No follow up from NFM to see if everything arrived in good condition.

Not bad for the price. Do not understand why the manufacturer put some "decorative cuts" on the table top. Makes cleaning harder.
