Beautiful piece

This is a beautiful island. There were some imperfections in the wood but nothing major. I just colored them in. The instructions were a little confusing. The quality seems good and everything lined up perfectly.

Just OK, will do for now

Torn between a 3 and 4 star review. Assembly was pretty easy, but instructions could really use more detail. Several parts were dinged, cracked, or had glue smears. None really visible, so not worth the trouble of returning. Functional and looks nice if you don't look too close.

Not very solidly built item

I was disappointed in the quality of this item. I expected it to be more solidly made. For example the shelving (and sides and drawer bottom) is just thin plywood which is not okay for shelving. Now I am afraid to put any heavy items on the shelves or in the drawer. But I guess you get what you pay for. We should have paid more to get a more solidly item. Sure it looks nice, and was not too hard to assemble. But I have no idea how long it will hold up.

Marissa Kitchen Cart

I have never seen such awful instructions.most kits come with each piece labeled. Instead, they put alphabet letters on the instructions. It is very difficult to figure out which piece goes where. I finally looked at photos of each piece and figured it out. The back is a cheap piece of very thin wood, also same wood in drawer. There are many scratches and many cheap looking pieces. Measurements are not accurate. I am going to have to stain it. Shelving inserts don’t stay in as the pins will not stay in. Inner parts don’t meet the frame, need to paint them. Buyer beware!

Bought this cart to use as a coffee station. It was fairly easy to put together and it looks very nice in my Dining Room. I use decorative baskets on the open shelves to hold coffee pods and coffee mugs. All other supplies can be hidden inside the shelves that have a door.

The materials involved are superior to other brands that are made of particle board. 90% of this goes together very easily. When you get to a few parts the screws are difficult to get in and turn with the supplied little wrench. I worked around that issue by making a friend do those. I would certainly suggest this to a friend with no reservations at all.

Looks Great

It looks great, just a bit of a pain to put together using the Allen wrench/hex key during some of the assembly. The picture instructions are a bit overwhelming at first but if you study them you are good to go.

It’s very handy. Looks great! The only downside really, is that I keep finding the little wooden circles that cover the screw holes, all over the place. With an autistic toddler who still puts EVERYTHING in her mouth, it scares me. But I’m hoping some wood glue will fix that.
