I hoped this would prevent dents and scratches, and it is working well so far. Sturdy. Rubber feet and bumpers around the edges to prevent scratching. I was concerned that there were holes into the tops of the rubber feet that could collect small pieces of debris, but an occasional shot of water into them has been keeping them clean.

The grid itself is OK, but the plastic feet have an opening on the top side between the two wires which enter in to it - that is a 'pocket' which holds small particles of food, which start decomposing in each little pocket. It will not rinse out under water pressure, and very hard to get most anything in there to clean. I bristled brush seems best, but still ......
