Dog Kennel for a "catio"

Overall, it's what I expected. On sale, the price was about right. I was also able to completely set it up on my own, as I have almost zero handiness skills. (It would help to have 2 people, though.) It comes mostly assembled/connected, so you just have open up the panels. The tricky part is putting on the connecting caps. My kit didn't seem to come with directions, but it was easy to figure out. But it took a little strength to push them in. The same for the roof. Because I'm using this for cats, I also put netting on the roof (under the canopy) to they can't climb out.

Bigger than a large crate

If you put the top on you woukd have to bend down to put my shepherd in. He would feel closed in. Otherwise it served my needs for him

Not tall enough

Although it was fairly easy to set up and I’m happy with the quality I will be returning this kennel. I didn’t think it would be an issue but it is very difficult to clean because you can’t stand up straight. Also I had to bolt it down to make it more sturdy and escape proof for my big German shepherd.

Easy

Even this 82 year old can set up this kennel. All sides are already joined so once you place the pieces all you need to do is place the connectors on top and bottom.

Not good for a big dog.

This cage doesn’t anchor down to anything because It has no floor. So my German Shepherd was able to put her head underneath the bottom and flip it over and get out. It’s a good thing I use it inside because she would have run away. This was a huge waste of money. And it was very expensive. I hate to leave bad reviews but if someone uses this outside their pet could flip it over and get out.

It’s nice but needs a support that runs down the sides to support the overhang cause it droops in the middle therefore when it rains it runs inside the enclosure. If not for that it would be the bomb

Xxl dog kennel

This kennel is way to small to hold a large breed dog.exact size was not indicated at time of order it just states it a xxl kennel definitely not worth $311 dollars.

Great chicken coop

Easy to assemble, even for a senior. Using it as a chicken coop for three chickens and it works great! Well-made and, best of all, no missing parts!

Adequate but something else is likely better.

Some of the holes in the panels that are used to attach the plastic securing pieces are imperfect making it hard and even impossible to fit. If forced, it cannot be removed without breaking the plastic, leaving the broken piece stuck in the panel. The canopy rips easily and can be knocked off easily if the dog reaches it.

This company doesn’t supply the plastic connectors

Great crate size for my 60 lb dog, but dogs chew the plastic connectors and I’m short 6 of them. The company doesn’t supply extra parts/top (dog also chewed this up).

Easy to set up. Love the 2 doors. My 2 dogs are comfortable and I don't worry about them getting out. I thought it was bigger, but it's ok.

The Trixie Deluxe Outdoor Dog Kennel was easy to assemble, and it seems like it is made from strong metal. The double door will come in handy. The kennel is smaller than what I expected, but it will work for my ducks to use as a nesting cage.
