9 Bay NAS enclosure
Easy to load, Easy to configure, and has enough connections to be reasonably future proof. Uses QNAP proprietary apps and comes with minimal documentation. Additional documentation is available online.
Qnap Nas Experience
I have recently purchased this Qnap TS-932PX-4G 9-Bay NAS Enclosure to be used as a storage device for backup. The data transfer speed is extremally fast as well as network connectivity. I would recommend this product for a storage solution in a network environment to anyone
An affordable QNAP that hits all the functional marks.
A modern nas that fairly high speed with a ton of connection options thanks to its spf+ port. Its easily quiet enough for home office. MUCH smaller selection of software for it compared to x86 versions, but are you getting it to be a baby server or store your files/iscsi LUNs? Very happy.
First time NAS
With all those brands out there, I pulled the trigger on this one so far so good, and the build quality is very good
good performance for this price
>600MB/s read/write performance with 5x 7200rpm HDD in RAID-6 using 10G network
Top NAS
Awesome Machine !
Awesome Item !!! Do wish it came with a written warranty.
Good product
Fully populated with 9 drives and 16 gb memory using the sfp+ pretty for 10gb Ethernet. So far so good.
Best Nas for the price point if you just want storage with SPF+ and SSD caching
This Nas isn't as powerful as some of the others NAS's qnap makes but it great if you already have a beefy server/computer and just want to have a NAS hooked up for storage. If you are looking at running VMs or containers on the NAS I might suggest getting different model but you will lose SPF+ option which is what I bought it for ( It's cheaper to get used server gear with SFP+ then 10gigabit E just a fyi) If you looking at buying higher price version for more ram save your money. I used the ram I linked below and it work perfect. To upgrade it pull all the 3.5 trays out and turn the unit on the side and you should see the the existing ram with the ram in it pull it and install the new ram you're good to go. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820236291
QNAP TS-932X-8G 9-bay NAS
This is my third QNAP NAS and I have gotten it up and running in no time. The two SFP+ slots (10gb) allow faster connection speeds than my other unit that has four 1 gb ports. This unit also has (2) 1 gb ports as well. The features on this NAS are too many to list. I am using this NAS as an NVR for my CCTV cameras on my house.
