I am returning this product

First, the price is outrageous compared to other suppliers. Next, the particle board is absolutely terrible. The wood splits with the small nails, my backing was shorter than the actual back of the item so when nailing it in the wood would either split in areas or would show through. I was missing piece 16. The holes on the door didnt light up for the door hinges. This was a birthday gift and I am so upset with the outcome of this that once my account is paid in full I will never use this company again.

The only con is the directions are vague, but easy to figure out. It is particle board and you do have to be careful when putting it together.

This storage cabinet gives a really cool modern look.

Great item for your bar needs!

Nice item to store all my bar/wine glasses and tools. Looks really good in my living room and is useful to keep my items in a central location.

Versatile cabinet and doesn't have to be used as a bar. Works great in the office! Had no problems putting it together!

wine cabinet

Great addition to our home. It has ample storing for glasses, wine, and accessories. You turn over the shelves and it has dividers to keep your wine bottles stationary.

Wife bought us this for our anniversary gift. Super easy to assemble and the materials used were super nice. The cabinet is better than we expected for the price. Now we have to go buy some alcohol to fill it up.

Very Cool MCM Piece

Love this piece. I purchased all 5 (coffee table, end tables, media table, desk, and bar). This one is the best due to the proportions. Very roomy inside. Of all of them, it probably has one of the more challenging elements to assemble (because it has doors, you have to install four European hinges, and it's a bit tricky getting the doors to align perfectly). Also, it's very easy to put the legs on incorrectly. They have to point outward, but there's no indication of how to position them before screwing them on. For the price, this is very chic stuff. The contrasting dark and light looks great. One warning is that some pieces are very heavy and despite the wealth of styrofoam, I've had some arrive damaged with the cardboard box and styrofoam punctured. Also, the Walmart return policy is confusing. The website says you can return online orders like this one to a store, but if you try to start the return online or on the mobile app, there is no option to return it to a store; it automatically prints you a shipping label. No one is going to ship back a piece of furniture if they can drive it to a store. When you do, the store cannot do an exchange. They can only return it, so you have to re-order another online again. I would recommend this piece and set to anyone looking to do a MCM (mid century modern room) at a low budget. I paid $800 for all my pieces. Final warning: anything with a drawer requires you to install the 4 rails (2 on drawer and 2 inside cabinet). The instructions are really bad, and it's easy to install this incorrectly. I did it twice and had to call the manufacturer twice, but ultimately got it correct. The rails are faintly marked LD, RD, LC, RC (Left/Right/Drawer/Cabinet) to tell you where they go. Long story short, the wheels on the rail on the drawer end up next to side of the drawer, NOT below it. There are two adjustable shelves inside, but you have to adjust them BEFORE you install the doors; otherwise, you cannot get them out (so think about exactly where you want them).

Overall, I am very happy with the Queer Eye Copley beverage storage cabinet. I love the black oak color combination – the two-tone colors look really nice together. I was surprised at how heavy it was! I was able to move it myself pretty easily, but I just wasn’t expecting that amount of weight. I found the instructions to be fairly easy to follow and it took me about an hour to put together and move into its place. The size of the cabinet is a pretty generous size and I love that the cabinet has legs that keeps it up off the floor. The cabinet feels pretty sturdy and the top surface can hold 50 pounds, while each shelf can hold 25 pounds. Since it is a beverage cabinet, I like that it comes with bottle dividers on part of the shelves. I think this is a great feature for easy storing bottles or glassware. This could easily be used in another room in the house, such as game or movie storage, or towels in a bathroom. I love the design and think it looks beautiful with any décor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking for a good quality, stylish cabinet.

Beautiful Cabinet!

When I received this cabinet I was pleasantly surprised at the size of it. It took my husband about 30 - 45 minutes to put it together but we absolutely love it. This will make a great addition to our dining room to store our adult beverages and special cocktail glasses. I’m sure this cabinet could be used for other rooms such as a large bathroom for towels, but ours was a bit too small for its size. I highly recommend this item, and it is sturdy and very appealing.

Quite Stunning Really! Very Nice Beverage Cabinet

This item was so heavy when delivered, I felt bad I hadn't tipped the delivery guy. Assembly was not easy for me because of this, though the plan was simple enough. It went together well, and really rather stunned me at how nice looking it is, now that it is completed. Though I was tempted during assembly to glue parts of it, as in placing the dowels and such, I followed the instructions as given. The unit is sturdy and strong (without glue). This unit is made of what I would call 'pressed wood', that being where the weight came from. It is not high quality because of this fact, in my estimation, however, it seems affordable quality that is sturdy and stylish. I am very pleased with this product, as a reviewer I would definitely buy this myself for use as a fashionable beverage cabinet at the vacation home or where it isn't too stressed by daily demands.

Too Beautiful to use

I like to first say that I really like how this piece arrived. I thought I had received the wrong item. It was wrapped museum quality and ready to be assembled. Love the look, great way to store wines and other spirits. This piece of furniture is an excellent addition to my house, it doesn't compete with any of my pieces. It's sturdy construction beautiful black color fits any decor.

Queer eye beverage storage center

This black oak beverage center came with all parts in separate numbered plastic bags. The instructions were easy to follow. The cabinet went together relatively easy thanks to the drilled holes. It has a nice look to it. The instructions state that putting a TV on it is not recommended it also states that the top and bottom shelves can hold up to 50 lbs. Inner shelving holds up to 25 pounds. This fits well in my home and I am using it for my stereo turntable records and CDs. This cabinet is heavy approx. 60 pounds.
