Multiple screws did not fit due to where & how the holes were drilled. Some holes in the wrong spot and every drawer had the holes on the side drilled too big. Had to go to the hardware store multiple times to buy replacement screws

Don’t buy it.

First, there was a broken piece that had to be reshipped. Then the assembly: NIGHTMARE. Nothing fit right, it’s rickety, and the drawers were a lost cause. We’re dumping the whole disaster and looking elsewhere.

the placement of some of the holes where two sides are to be connected were too far into the panel. also requires the use of an awhl to make 16 holes for screws. why not just put the holes there??? Also the drawers barely open halfway. would not purchase this or recommend it.

Put this desk together was a nightmare the instructions are very confusing. And did not get all the necessary materials. The screws for the drawers are to same and they fall off I have to go and by the right ones. Never buying this again I don’t recommend.

This desk was easy to assemble. The drawers slide smoothly. The look is very clean. It is a perfect size for a 10 year old and will continue to be useful for quite a few years.

it did what it was supposed to do

Product is beautiful but material is kind of cheap and fragile. I appreciate the video, it assisted a lot in the building process. It took 3 hours to build and you definately need a helper. Overall I am satisfied with the product for the price that I paid.

Drawers nearly unusable; they hardly open.

Cons: difficult, time-consuming assembly, poor instructions, and then you wind up with drawers that barely open far enough to reach most of what you'd put in them.

I’ve never been more disappointed with a piece of furniture. The build quality, wood quality, and parts quality were horrible. I’m plenty handy, so don’t assume otherwise. I really tried to make this work as my daughter really needed a desk that weekend.

No instructions

We opened it and pulled everything out and it looks like all the items are there, no damage and it feels decent. However, there were NO INSTRUCTIONS. Don't bother trying to find instructions because you won't find any. The Tvilum website doesn't even work. The page where you can supposedly look at instructions won't load at all. I saw the reviews and decided to give it a chance and it was a bust. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Gonna have to take this back and try and get our money back.

The desk is nice for the cost, but had multiple areas of damage from shipping. Instructions were okay but accidentally installed the kick plate for front and back backward because they were not labeled differently, but had the same part code. The back panel was already on so I wasn't able to flip them, so there is a raw edge showing on the front of the desk. Other than that it went together fairly easily and looks as described. Overall, a decent desk for the price.

This is one of the worst home assembly pieces of furniture I have ever purchased. Hardware doesn’t line up as it should, it arrived cracked, and there are no written instructions in the manual, only small poor quality pictures.

Once all put together the desk is great! However, getting there seems like a road hard to travel! The directions aren't very clear and there were some pieces missing like screws! This isn't the first time I've had this happen with furniture that I've ordered from the Home depot but because I didn't want to go on a Lord of the Rings quest because Gandalf is quarantining due to the pandemic, I made due with some screws that I had leftover for such a project as this.Other than that, it is a great desk and my computer looks great on it. I would still recommend because it is a great desk for the price.

Absolutely terrible

Ok, please know I put things together all the time and usually don’t need the instructions with the way my mind works. This however is beyond insane! The instructions are terrible. Only pictures so hard to comprehend what board to use where or what screw. The pieces are not labeled, all of the accessory screws, bolts nuts came all together in bag that was already opened. They were everywhere in the box so I’m sure a few pieces are missing. Numerous of my boards are chipped off on the corners showing the pressed brown wood. Very disappointed! There wasn’t even a number to call for assistance on the instructions which are just pictures, no words. I googled the company and after looking found a contact number. I called and they closed at 4 pm so I will call again tomorrow. I will update their response.

Terrible. Don't buy this junk. The wood is so cheap, if you accidentally put the wrong bullets in the holes to connect the dresser -Like leggos- , then the plywood will crumble and will no longer be able to use that hole nor make a new one. The directions are just cartoon illustrations that don't explain anything, NOTHIUNG is labelled. GOOD LUCK TRYING TO PUT THE DRAWER RAILS IN!

Needed (2) desks for my kids for virtual learning. Of course so did everyone else. I ordered them and they arrived within (1) week which was far better than any other site. One of the desks did arrive with a crack on the desktop which I believe was from shipping. I contacted Tvilum and they replaced the broken desktop relatively quickly considering the demand. The desks were easy to put together and I thought the quality was very good for the price. It looks very nice and was exactly what we needed.

Good desk, hard to put together.

Its a nice desk once you put it together, very sturdy and will meet the need of my family. It putting it together that is the problem. I actually like putting furniture together and do it rather quickly. This desk took me 5 HOURS to put together. Not only do you have to built EVERYTHING but you also have to put the tracks in for the drawers. It would be easy if all the holes were there but I also had to make holes for some of the screws myself. The directions have no words so twice I had to take apart what I did previously because it was wrong. One of the wooden dowels got stuck in a spot that was suppose to be a screw hole so i had to try to screw into the dowel hole and ended up splitting the wood, good thing it was in the back. I gave it a 3 because I like the desk after all is put together but putting together was a nightmare!!!

Great Desk

This desk is perfect! I had no issues at all while putting it together. Although it was a bit time consuming it was worth it. I am not sure why so many people have issues with this desk. It is very sturdy and has a good amount of space. My favorite part is the price! I have seen other desk of the same quality at about 200-400. It's a pretty good deal. I use this desk in my office. I want to purchase another one for a make up vanity although they are out of stock.
