It's ok just don't expect luxury

This review is based on my last mattress at the end of it's life being a 1 and a luxury hotel's mattress being a 5. This one is neither of those by any means. It's average, its good, it's ok. It's very firm, which is what I expected and fine by me. The price is reasonable and the mattress is comfortable, it's ok, just don't think you're going to be "sleeping on a cloud".

After over a decade on Memory Foam mattresses...

Back in 2013 I got my 1st memory foam, and had been using them until 2024. No matter what the gimmick they were always too hot. Rather than fall for any new gimmicks I decided to get a "cheap" bed that was innerspring hoping it would breath better. I found out the Nurture Night was the same mattress as the Blue Lagoon Night. After thoroughly researching the various models of the Perfect Sleeper I ended up giving the Medium a go. So Far me and my wife are loving this new mattress. Very good initial quality, firm for a medium (I had read this in reviews and we came from firm foam mattresses). The best part is the king we wanted sells for as high as $* (base retail) and we scored is at almost half off on a Bed Bath & Beyond sale + coupon, including free delivery! I sleep hot no matter what, and so far I can tell this mattress gets hot like the foams, but it cools off much quicker, so it's not as problematic. We upgraded from Queen to King, and the extra space also helps. Both me and my wife are really enjoying this mattress so far, and knowing Serta's reputation for quality I would expect this to last a very long time. You can't flip but we will rotate once in a while as me and my wife are different weights. This is more breathable than any "cooling" foam mattress I've tried, its firm, has great motion isolation, and is very quiet (we choose a platform bed and not adjustable base). The feel of the non flat surface (unlike foam) takes a little getting used to, and we don't sink in quite as much yet (it's still only a couple weeks old and I expect it to break in a little more). For shopping around the Nurture Night aka Blue Lagoon Nights was often cheapest her on BB&B, the Oasis Sleep AKA Cobalt Calm is a slightly higher quality, and the Midsummer night AKA Adoring night, is the lowest priced (these can all be looked up on Serta's site but always available at lower price elsewhere. I would say getting any of these mattresses would be a good buy and there are 14 different options available between them. IF you are tired of gimmicks and excessive pricing of foam mattresses, come back to innerspring and give these a try. Happy mattress shopping

Feels too firm for a Medium

It’s too firm for me. I even bought a 4 inch Lucid foam topper and it’s too firm. I can’t exchange because this mattress was my one and only exchange. However, I wanted the plush that goes by the exact same name. When I was telling the sales guy the name of the mattress (that was online only, they didn’t have the floor model at their store), he punched it into the computer, and excitedly said “Aha! There’s only one King size left in stock!” I assumed he pulled up the mattress I wanted. No. Once it got delivered and I laid on it awhile, I noticed it seemed awfully hard for a plush. I took off the sheets & protector to check the tag, sure enough, it said Nurture Night Medium. Bummed. I feel I’m stuck with it, so I invested more money into the memory foam topper. I was born with a brachial plexus birth injury that caused nerve damage in my right shoulder. I also happen to be a side sleeper. I now wake up with my shoulder sore and irritated. So again, for ME, the medium is too hard. Would probably be great for a back sleeper. Build seems sturdy, that’s a positive. And I like the edge support.

Serta Perfect Sleeper Nurture Night King Mattress

We purchased this mattress to replace an older Serta mattress. With the older mattress my wife and I began having shoulder and lower back pain. We knew it was time for a new mattress. We did our research and decided that the Serta Nurture Night Perfect Sleeper was what we needed. From the first night to the present, we both wake up pain free. The mattress is very comfortable and contours to your body for a cradling affect. We chose the medium firmness which is not too soft and not too firm. So far this has been the perfect mattress for us.

good support but dips quickly

I initially purchased a medium firm mattress and after sleeping one night on it decided it was not firm enough. Contacted Mattress Firm to let them know I wanted to return it and get the full firm mattress, they asked me to select another mattress which I did. Paid the difference since the mattress I chose was higher price and had it delivered a week later. I only slept on the first mattress one night and put it away until it was picked up the mattress firm.
