I like the Fumdango comsttruction better, becaise rhe Coleman jas a bar down the middle and doesn't sit evenly on a level floor, but teeters back and forth alomg rhe axis of the middle bar. i toss and turn, which makes the entire bes lurch to side to side. That said, you dont really fewl themiddle bar because rhe mattress is pretry comfortable and quiet. I do like the way the platform extends a bit below the mattreaa so you can tuck in a top.sheet and a blanket.
Piece of junk
I bought this for camping multiple times a year and to save my back. The first night I aired it up, within 4 hours in was 1/2 full. I tried again the following night and the same thing. No hole that I can find. I waited on hold for 1 hr and no answer from Coleman. Emailed and still no response.
It works if you’re lucky.
On the 6th day of use the “ strong coil comfort system “ began to malfunction. It sounded like glue/stitching being ripped apart. The mattress formed a bubble where I heard internal tearing of whatever material. After that the mattress lost all structural stability and felt more like a waterbed and couldn’t hold air. It deflated noticeably faster, but no visible holes or tears. I had to throw it out because it was unstable in condition. The cot by itself suffices if there’s no option for a cushion/mattress.
Great until the valve rips and it becomes useless
Great until the valve ripped on a trip and I ended up having to sleep on the ground. I would inflate the mattress when we arrived in camp and then top off before going to bed. Minimal air loss throughout the night however there was enough to notice. Is a pain to set up but it’s a queen cot. The valve ripped once just the end cap but still worked, then it ripped so bad it couldn’t hold air always been careful when opening and closing the valve. Disappointed and can’t find a replacement air mattress.
Good until it wasn’t
I’ve used it 3 times before and loved it! I brought a memory foam mattress topper and it was super comfortable. Unfortunately, on the 4th use, I was filling it up and it popped. It didn’t seem like it was over inflated, in fact it was still kind of soft. I’d love a replacement mattress if possible!!
Big and bulky, but overall what we needed
Overall this is a big improvement for our campsite. The cot and air bed are easy to set up, albeit a bit cumbersome and bulky both setting up and packing up. We enjoy waking up elevated and the little side tables are an unexpected perk.
A bed for camping!
We love to tent camp but can’t face crawling off ground mattress or bouncing on double high mattress anymore! We bought 2 twins for our tent. I inflated the mattress part for several nights to stretch it out. Brought our own bedding and WOW, each evening I was so happy to say I was going to bed!! It was so cozy, held air, and so easy to get up being so elevated off the ground! Camping in our 70’s isn’t going to be so difficult anymore! Great purchase!
Nice full size air cot
Set up and breakout are pretty quick. We pull the mattress out of sleeve every time for breakdown so having to put it back in is a little more time consuming but it's not bad. Very comfortable. We haven't used the tables yet.
A cot fit for a big and tall man
I’m a big and tall man and was looking for a cot to not only be sturdy enough to support my body but also provide a comfortable nights rest. I found it! Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it with no reservations. Thanks, Coleman! PS. Coleman, you should design and sell a king-size cot so I can cuddle with my spouse!
Great Camping Cot
We bought this cot specifically for camping in a tent. We used it this past week. It was very comfortable and easy to set up and take down. Love that the air mattress is removable and easy to fold up.
Functional and convenient
Set up is easy and mattress held air overnight with 460lbs on it. Definitely glad we have it. Only drawbacks are that it's quite noisy, and the bag wouldn't stand upright due to a flimsy base. I cut a piece of masonite for inside the bag and now it stands up perfectly.
Air Mattress Is Terrible
We recently purchased the Queen Airbed Cot and on our second use the air mattress itself exploded layer by layer until it was one huge ball. It was just my husband and myself sleeping on it. We had not overfilled it. We weren't jumping on it. It happened halfway through the night. We have never had this happen before with any air mattress. We were stuck in a remote camp site with nowhere to sleep. Since the fabric is attached to the cot and Coleman doesn't sell replacement parts for it, I'm not sure what to do. I expected better from a brand like Coleman and this cot wasn't cheap. I actually do like the cot but without the mattress it's fairly useless.
LOUD and Can't Be Cleaned
Air mattress leaks a bit and it's very LOUD. It squeeks everytime either person moves. Thinking about returning it. The pump fills it fine. We had to add air after the 1st night. The cover does not come off for cleaning. It's sewn to the frame.
Good cot but instructions would be helpful
I like this cot, it is comfortable, it inflates and deflates fast.... BUT, I really wish it had come with some instructions instead of me having to just figure it out. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but every time I fold or unfold it I give myself bruises on my legs from the legs of the cot. I would like to know if anyone has ever been able to get the thing back in the storage bag because I sure can't.
Helpful tip when using this air bed cot.
Helpful tip. Don’t bother on using the air pump that the airbed cot comes with. Even with new batteries the pump is not powerful enough to fully inflate the bed. I experienced this while I was camping. Luckily, someone had an old, plug in Coleman air pump that did the job. I believe thats why other customers had bad reviews because the air bed did not have enough pressure. From experience sleeping on several different air beds in the past the Coleman Airbed cot has been the best with keeping the air pressure the same from the previous night until the next morning. Trust me this airbed cot with a plug in air pump is worth purchasing for camping. It only works if you have a powerful plug in air pump different from the pump that it comes with.
AIR MATTRESS NOT WORTH IT
I bought this expecting a comfy sleep at camp but the air mattress barely lasts 4 hours. I've had many friends with various weights and heights borrow this air mattress and they all said it deflated on them within 4 hours. At least the cot is comfy but you can easily just buy a cheaper one for the same level of comfort.
No Air Pump in the Package
I ordered this so I could use it on Memorial Day Weekend. I arrived on time but there is no pump inside the bag with the cot and air mattress. The add clearly stated it came with a 4D Cell battery air pump. The side of the bag the cot and air mattress are in also state the same thing but still no air pump.
Air mattress has hole upon arrival
The cots are great! However, one mattress had a hole upon arrival. The first time we blew it up the air leaked out within an hour. The other mattress we purchased seems great.
[Rewarded Review] The best and most comfortable camp (and not only camp) bed I ever had!!
I would be honest, we got this Cot Queen C001 back in February. But winter is not the best time to go for a camping in Colorado. So only now, on Mother’s Day weekend we finally got chance to check it out.
Horrible customer service
This company has the worst customer service I have seen in awhile…that is saying something today. I placed an order, then asked them to cancel
