We love naturepedic!

We recently transitioned our daughter to her 'big girl bed' with this mattress and the transition has gone well. We used the naturepedic crib mattress for her so I knew I wanted to stay with this company and get this mattress next. We know they're good quality and my daughter sleeps great on these mattresses. We're using the waterproof side for now and it sounds a little crunchy sometimes when she moves around (that's something she's getting used to) but the mattress is soft and comfy. I read some reviews that said this mattress was pretty hard, but it's much softer than the toddler side of the naturepedic crib mattress, so it works for us.

Daughters mattress

I knew I wanted a safe option for my daughters transition from her crib mattress to a full size. After lots of research and reading reviews I'm happy I purchased the 2 in 1. She still wears pull-ups to bed so the waterproof option is great! The mattress and low profile foundation were easy to install. I've been really happy with the fast responses to any questions I've had!

Perfect Matress for Growing Toddlers

We recently switched to a twin-sized big kid bed. The 2 in 1 Organic Kids Mattress offers the perfec transition from a crib or toddler bed to a big kid bed. Our toddler thinks his mattress is "nice and comfy". We love that the matress is organic and non-toxic. The waterproof side also offers the added convenience of a quick clean up when our potty-training toddlers has a nighttime accident.

Great concept, but not firm at all.

I purchased this bunk mattress over another organic brand because I really liked the double sided concept for littles who still haven't fully mastered toileting. However, despite being advertised as "firm feel," it absolutely is not. It is so bouncy and soft, it honestly feels like a waterbed, especially on the waterproof side. My 30-lb child should not be sinking into it if it really is made to be firm and meant to withstand up to 400 lbs. You can also hear the springs when moving around on it. My partner and I have a different organic brand mattress advertised as medium firm, and it is way firmer and more comfortable than this mattress. Thankfully Naturepedic offers a generous return policy. As a company I do like Naturepedic and we use their mattress protectors and my child likes their pillow, but this particular product unfortunately did not meet expectations.

Great choice for new loft bed

I did a lot of research for a mattress when we decided to move my daughter from a toddler bed to a loft bed. The bed we got her said that it required a mattress no taller than 6". Many children's mattresses are taller than that so there not a ton of mattresses to choose from. I was also very concerned about not introducing any toxic chemicals to her sleep area, so health and quality was a priority to me. We are using the mattress on the cushioned side for her now with a Naturepedic waterproof mattress pad, and it is extremely comfortable. The 6" height does not detract at all from the comfort. Shipping was better than expected and it is working out great! Very happy with my purchase. Would purchase from Naturepedic again for sure.

Fabulous service and product!

I've dealt with this company both in person at their Bethesda location and online. I've been impressed with their service on all fronts. Over the last 8 years, I've ordered a crib mattress, bassinet mattress, diaper pad, twin mattress and queen. I've also bought waterproof sheets - they aren't like the plastic crunchy ones and they're breathable! My waterproof sheets are still going strong 8 years on and they also have cleaned up just fine in the washer and dryer (on low or hang to dry but I know I've put them through on high before and they still work). Although we've given our baby things away after using for two kids, we kept the waterproof flat sheets because they just come in handy.
