Not as nice as expected

Not great quality. It feels like thin wood paneling. There is visible glue where pieces of wood are joined. I am returning this item. It’s too expensive for the quality.

We ordered a king size headboard. It took 2 people about an hour to put it all together (assemble & attach to bed frame). It is quite sturdy & doesn’t wiggle at all after being attached. I would have given it 5 stars but the color is definitely NOT a true walnut. Rather, it is a mahogany. So 4 out of 5 stars for quality but not for color.

Well-made

The headboard is well-made and easy to assemble even for an elderly woman. I do have a complaint about the packing. When the headboard was packed, tape was applied to the front and left a lot of sticky residue. The backside of the headboard was completely clean. A correction needs to be made to the dimensions listed in the description of this item. It is NOT 44.25 inches high. It is 50 inches high. This error is a big deal. I will have to cut the legs in order to accommodate my space.
