I can't compare these to others. It does its job. I wish it was a bit taller for me (6'1") but then it would be easier for it to fall over or out from under you. I marked 4 stars, but maybe I'd think all active stools are 4 stars at best?

This chair is comfortable and stable, and with adjustable height and ability to swivel, it is versatile and allows proper ergonomics.

Chair is a great quality and it helps to prevent fatigue as it allows you to move a bit. The seat is high even on lowest setting for someone 5'1" but it's manageable. All I would change is the upholstery fabric. It can be quite harsh after sitting for longer than about 15 minutes. I solved the issue by buying a better cover which makes it non irritable.

Easy to assemble, comfortable, right height

I bought this primarily to use at some low work surfaces in my kitchen, such as a chest freezer that's too low to comfortably bend over. It's the right height and easy to adjust. The assembly was quick, although there was one flaw in the instructions (they implied, to me, that a protective cap should not be removed before assembly; it should have been, had to remove it with pliers because leaving it on jammed it in place). The stool is attractive, a good height, and works well as a balance stool. The only flaw, which is more with my household than with the product, is that my cats think the top is a great place to claw. Fortunately, the fabric has held up fantastically.

As an owner of the original Sitness 20 and proponent of active sitting, I can tell you it's obvious why the price for this design variant is lower with the changed build.,
