I am glad I got this. I can unstable at times. So with steps being wider and the rails it great. The only down fall is it is really heavy.

A regular step stool doesn't allow me to reach the top shelves in my house. I need the stability that the hand rails offer in order to reach these shelves safely. I have wanted this 3 step stool for years and I love it
