Not great. There is a plastic piece that pushes the “button” once put together to keep the light on. However I had to put some tiny pieces of paper towels in it to keep enough pressure on it to keep the light on.

For years I have been using chemicals to clear my garden pond of green water with mixed results. One week of UV use and I was a believer. After two weeks I am ready to shout its praises from the rooftop.

Recent purchase update

I especially like the flexibility with the accessories during install. I purchased two units so Ill see how they work out in the next few weeks on my new ponds.

Disappointed

Although I am dealing with a fairly large pond (2500 Gallons) and the algae bloom was prolific, this UV filter has not made much, if any, difference even while using an anti-algae product in conjunction with the filter. Having had another filter which was very efficient this one is disappointing.
