I "tried out" the chair at my local Staples. It was very comfortable & it raised up high enough for me (I'm pretty short.) I also liked the dark gray color. The store didn't have four chairs, so, I ordered them. The order was delivered the very next day! I was all ready to assemble them, but the base plate was missing. I called the help line & spoke to Angie. She was so, so thorough and helpfull. I had the missing parts within 3 days!! I would highly recommend these chairs (& know that if you have any problems at all, you will be treated with utmost respect & courtesy.) I actually bought these office chairs for use at our kitchen
