This adaptor works well and is well made and designed. It is made out of a pliable rubber like material that is better than hard plastic. You could use this adaptor as a blower nozzle too.

It works. This looked collapsible in the product photos, which would have been great. It's not; you need to cut it. Since you need to cut this to be usable for any specific size, you'll need a few. Multiply the price by four if you want to adapt to all four sizes.

i liked that this can be used with muliple size attachments but i did not like that when using this whatever you are vacuuming can get stuck or trapped around the inside according on size of attachment

Allows use of various size attachments on the shop vac. I was able to use a smaller crevice tool and an upholstery brush I had from an old vacuum.

Good universal adapter

This is good for adapting a variety of tools to a standard size hose.

Flexible Material Makes the Difference

The biggest value to this particular universal adapter is that it's made of FLEXIBLE material so it'll stretch a bit to fit different tool fittings. I bought an almost identical one made of hard plastic and it wouldn't quite fit as I needed. I can finally attach my Shop Vac to my mitre saw dust port.

Duravac Universal Tool Adapter

It did the job it was bought for - remove lime scale from a hot water tank with a wet-vac. Sealing the water hose to the adapter was a little tricky, but generous use of duct tape did the trick.
