Mounting brackets were not included. They cost $85, so I decided it was not worth the combined price and I have returned the shelf.
Very low profile, I love how it looks but you need to get the mounting hardware which is sold separately. I didn't mind having to get it but don't quite get why it wouldn't be sold together. This is not a Wayfair issue but rather a supplier one but be aware when you order. I am giving 4 stars because it looks great on the wall, we are using it as a lower profile towel rack and it is perfect.
