I have a glass desk and I really needed to put a monitor arm on my desk for 2 monitors since I was running out of space. I picked up this in order to give more support to the glass and it has been holding strong for almost a year now.

I have this mounted under an arm for a 34” Samsung ultrawide on a glass desk and it works great! Look great and works as it should. Great product!

It's heavy and seems to get the job done

Very sturdy, good quality

For the price, this is a lot more sturdy than I was thinking it would be. I really like that the padding isn't already installed on the metal. I didn't want the pad on the bottom piece going under the desk because I was going to use double sided sticky tape to attach it to my desk and was wondering how that would work with the pad. But luckily the pad isn't already installed so worked perfectly. Great purchase. They are very large pieces as well.

Triple monitor

I used this base for my triple monitor stand. Worked great and seems very solid.

Solid Structural Support

Because of how my desk is built, I was not able to use the included legs for my monitors because they would hang off the front and back of the shelf that was meant to place your monitors, which did not sit well with me.Additionally, this shelf actually sits on top of a rectangular set of 1inch thick square shaped bars. This meant that the .monitor stand would only havethe width of the shelf, as well as about 1 inch of metal bar to clamp down on and support 44lbs of very expensive monitors.To mitigate this, I bought this monitor support, and a very precisely measured and cut block of wood to fill in the gap, and was able to fashion and very strong central support for the monitors. This piece does a great job of keeping the monitors from wobbling around at the desk.

not much to say, surprisingly it requires some work to put apply the non-abrasive self-adhesive pads which was unexpected but glad to see adding to protecting the desk surface.

So far so good with this plate. It has seemed very sturdy and has caused my heavily-loaded monitor arms to not sag much at all anymore. Love it.

I was looking for an extended plate for my clamp mounted monitor mount. This mount had everything that I was looking for, width and depth, to help protect my desk. I'm in the process of upgrading to a butcherblock top, but have no doubt that this will help my setup hold true when said and done.

Seems very sturdy

It was very easy to install, just hold the bottom piece until the dual monitor mount screw was snug, then tighten all the way (just Snugger).

Probably not necessary for most (unless glass desk)

Ended up not using it for my dual monitor mount, it just added too much bulk for seemingly little to no benefit.For two monitors this is probably a bit overkill on a good-quality VESA mount on a decent wooden desk. But overall the product is still overall a good idea and well-built, it's just not for me.

Solid weight spreader

This weight spreader has really set my mind at ease. My wife has a 24" monitor hanging off the side of her glass-top desk on an Ergotron monitor arm, and tightening that clamp during each desk setup (initial + 3 moves) has always been terrifying.This kit contains two steel plates, a big one for the top and a smaller one for the bottom. I only used the big plate, because the bottom part of the desk is steel and doesn't need any help. The top plate is quite a bit larger than the monitor arm base, so it really speeds out the load. Muuuch better.Overall, this product is excellent. Just carefully check the plate dimensions to make sure it will work for your particular desk setup. It is big!

keeps my monitor stand steady

My monitor stand is more sturdy since I put this on especially since the stand didn't exactly fit this desk at the bottom since I recently switched. Great item and very useful and has strong plates with antislip stickers.

Nice reinforcement

This works perfectly with the monitor arm I installed on my desk. It made the arm more steady, and it protected my desk. Well worth the money.
