[Rewarded Review] Easy work of disposer drain installation

What I like about the discharge adjustable drain pipe for the disposal - #1 Intense ease of installation. #2 The gasket meshes perfection and is easy to work with. What I did not care for is the internal disturbance of the water flow. I realize this is a must with a flexible pipe of this kind, however I would like to see tighter convolutions of thepipe itself. Initially it is working fine with no noticeable vibrations due to drain water turbulence.

[Rewarded Review] Was a game changer!

The Danco Flexible Discharge Tube for Garbage Disposals in White was my answer to a unique situation. I used the flexible discharge tubing for a dry cabin application. I haul a small amount of water and have a kitchen sink that just empties into a 5 gallon bucket under the sink. I wanted a more targeted drain underneath that would get the water from the basin closer to the bucket and this worked perfect! Coiled it measures 6" but extended it measures 11" so it can be just flexed in order to remove & replace the bucket. Having it fully extended also helps reduce splashback.

This garbage disposal connection is pretty clever in its design. It uses a metal flange in conjunction with a rubber seal and plastic hose to ensure a positive connection to the disposal unit. I like to keep these on hand in case I have an issue at my home or a rental property. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. Check out my photos to see how I lined up the seal and flange with the hose. The hose is adjustable as well and can be positioned to connect up to a waste line from a variety of angles. I recommend this kit from Danco.

[Rewarded Review] Easy to use

Picked up this DANCO Flexible Discharge Tube for Garbage Disposal to replace a cracked one in our pantry sink. This one is bit thicker than the one I am replacing and will hopefully last a bit longer. In fact I bought a spare to have on hand, it is right under the sink and we have our recycle bin next to the disposal and sometimes hit the drain. The installation was pretty simple it was just a tight spot to work in.

[Rewarded Review] Convenient, Well-Designed Kit

This is a handy little kit if you're installing a new garbage disposal and the discharge outlet doesn't line up precisely with your existing hard PVC drain pipe. This could happen if your new disposal is a different brand or size from the garbage disposal that you are replacing. The flexible pipe is actually quite rigid, but gives you enough play to be able to line it up with your new disposal easily. You will need some of the old fittings and hardware, so read directions carefully ...they are clear and well-written. A nice, quality item from a brand I've always been happy with.

This Danco flexible discharge tube for garbage disposals and other drain adaptations was ordered because I have used Danco products in the past. The quality is very good. It is easy to install and maintain. It will be used in our main kitchen sink/disposal. I like the style of it and mostly the long flexibility. It is leak proof if done correctly. We'll get years of service out it.
