Works surprisingly good

We have an Aussie that sheds at very blink. I would spend about $100-120 cost and tip at the groomers ant least 4 times a year and she’d still shed more at home. She hates the groomers, too much noise, other dogs, don’t touch my feet, I’m sure she’s even nipped at them too. I have a Furminator and you could spend a week and she’d still shed and my wrists would be sore and we’d end up looking like we were in a cotton candy machine of fur! So instead of taking her to the groomers again, I figured I’d try this out. At first she didn’t like it because of the noise (it’s like a hair dryer on low) - I used the dematting tool first. WOW. And I mean WOW. Once she got over the sound and realized what we were doing, she laid on my husband’s lap and we were finally getting that undercoat out. Seeing how it pulled it out and instantly sucked up (it wasn’t a perfect suction all the time, we’d have to clear the comb a few times) we got her sides & back. Had to stop 3 times to empty out the container. She even let me use the trimmer on her paw pads. We used the vacuum and the scraper on us but it was a lot less than if we used the Furminator. Now for the machine itself, that’s the reason for the 4 stars: I feel like for as much as we will need to be popping the attachments or the collector on/off the unit, I feel like the snaps & latches are going to break sooner than later even if I’m careful. If they could be engineered to be stronger that would be great for grooming dogs like Aussies, Huskys, Golden, Berners, etc. — you're likely wrestling around to keep the dog calm and in one spot and the dog is going to see the chance you take to stop and empty the container as a chance to take off and you’re not going to be focused on assembly or disassembly either. It comes with a bag to keep all the attachments, I might look into getting a case or a small carryon luggage-type to store the whole thing in. We have only used 2-3 of the tools in the package, but overall it’s impressive that we got more deshedding done than the groomers ever did. I’m definitely recommending this to anybody that struggles with shedding!

Cool product.

After several uses I am very happy with my purchase. I was skeptical, I have a couple of dogs that are noise sensitive and others that want to eat any vacuum cleaner they hear. They all were pretty comfortable from the start and the more exposure the better they are. The unit is very slick and the clouds of dog hair ft om using a regular brush are non existent. The vacuum sucks it right up.

I'm so happy I purchased this grooming kit. I have 3 dogs that shed all the time. I have many brushes that work well, but having the vacuum attached to a brush is fantastic! So convenient. So easy to use and clean. I also used the trimmer on one of the dogs and it was also pretty cool. I've never trimmed my dog's fur before, so it takes getting used to the attachment but it's very easy and safe once my confidence was built. I recommend this kit to every dog owner.

So Worth It!!!!

Saw this on an ad and thought about it for awhile cause it's a bit of an investment. Finally decided to go for it. We have a long haired fat cat who has never been good at cleaning herself and gets terribly matted. We have shaved her in the past but always struggled w the ridiculous mess her fur made and having trouble telling what was loose hair and what was still attached. Fur would get everywhere. Tried this and it was like magic! We could see where we had shaved her as the vacuum on the lowest setting cleaned up as we went. Barely had to hold the cat, the vacuum wasn't any louder then the dryer (we did this in our laundry room) so she wasn't freaked out by it. So much easier to clean her up. Then my parents, who are in their 70's used it on their dog who usso low to the ground she needs her fur trimmed to keep her clean when she goes outside. My Dad loved it! Said it was so easy to trim their dogs backside and feet and not have fur flying. He didn't even know about the brush w the retractable tines that vacuums as you brush! Just based on my experience w our cat and my parents w their dog it is a winner. I haven't even gotten to our other 2 dogs who shed and you can use it like a blow dryer to dry your dog after bathing...this truly lives up to the advertising

Best Grooming Tool

This product is absolutely amazing! My dog wasn’t scared of the sound and it can be used for multiple things. The vacuum is decent and it removes the hair as you use the shedder comb. I recommend this product to any one who has a dog.

Not sure how I lived with a yellow lab for 13 years without this. GAME changer. It really is low noise and WORKS! I’m recommending to everyone I know with a pet or getting pet. This is mandatory for grooming but also for anyone who suffers from allergies.

That machine is awesome!!!

It works so well! We used it on our Labrador (who sheds a ton) before gping and stayin at someone's house who has OCD. The dog slept on the bed and we couldn't find a single hair shed.

'TEDDY & MATTY

So far, I'm loving it. Much less of a mess. I had to do one of my guys, Matty, with the old clippers because his hair had gotten way too long and clogged the vacuum. But Teddy's went great and he didn't seem to mind the change of devices. I may need to do a 2nd grooming as I wasn't used to handling the clipper, but so far, it's good. Practice makes perfect.
