Bought this as part of a kitchen remodel. Used this as a backsplash. Looks great as a contrast to the lighter colored cabinets and flooring

I bought the Urban Loft mosaic tile to use as the back splash in my kitchen. It has been installed, and it did not disappoint ! It’s is beautiful in my kitchen.

Beware

The tile looked beautiful until my contractor tried to install the grout. We chose a charcoal color. It stailed the tile. Sealed the tile twice, and it still stained it. Tried two other colors and both stained it. Ended up going with a light grout to match the tile that was staining. Not very happy with the result.

I had to replace some missing 3/4" square bathroom tiles and I could not find an exact replacement. They don't seem to make this style any more. .I searched for a substitute that was the same thickness and found this tile. It had some strips that were 3/4 inch wide. I substituted a strip, pulled from the backing for 3 of the missing tiles and although not perfect, the floor is now fully tiled and looks pretty good.

Very nice pattern and color combination. Would have nice to know ahead of time. Tile is made up of glass metal and plastic. We used it as back splash. Just love it

no cracked tiles at all

Bought 12 sheets- no cracks. got home and carefully placed on bathroom floor. Looked at later and 7/12 sheets were cracked. Very attractive tile- thin, cracks easily.

Love the drama this tile brought to my otherwise rather plain kitchen. According to my installer though some of the tiles on a few of the sheets were not placed on the backing straight so he had to manually remove and replace those tiles to make the pattern look right. Also because the pattern is one-way directionally, there were a lot of wasted pieces of tile (some tiles had to be cut in half with half used & half wasted). Also there was a very similar tile but in more neutral tones in-store that was $3 less per tile. Not sure why a darker toned tile would cost more. Overall am happy with the backsplash yet disappointed in Home Depot’s quality control & nonsensical pricing.

Love this tile for the contrasting materials and colors but this is NOT a high quality tile in terms of thickness. As other reviewers mentioned it the stone cracks easily. Buy extra to replace broken stone tiles. Also I wish it were more staggered to reduce seam appearance.
