Solid/heavy. Worth the money
Put a 77” sony a80L on this. 3” to spare. Going to wall mount TV tho for even better looks. This piece of furniture is very nice. Great quality for the price and easy to build.
Sleek and sturdy
The cabinet console for TV is a stylish and functional piece that enhances the entertainment area. Its design is sleek, providing ample storage without compromising on aesthetics. Ideal for organizing media essentials, it's a great addition to any living space.
High quality and great design
This piece is surprisingly well made and of high quality materials. I knew when the box arrived and it weighed a ton that the material was going to be sturdy. The directions do leave a lot to be desired... We did have to take it apart and start over at one point, but in the end it was worth all of the trouble. Great quality and design for the price!
Love it!
This stand has been super solid so far. Great outcome for the money. It looks so nice too! Definitely our favorite tv stand we’ve had. All the compartments make it super practical too.
5 Stars
Perfect addition if you're looking for a mid century modern piece. The unit is solid and roomy, fits our 55" tv nicely. Instructions are pretty easy to follow, too. I assembled most of it myself but needed an extra pair of hands toward the end. Time wise it took about 2 hours from start to finish. Cables were able to be secured to the back of the stand using a velcro kit purchased on ****.
Pretty stand and pretty hard to put together!
Beautiful stand! Directions were HORRIBLE! Would have given this 5 stars but the directions and parts left a lot to desire. Maybe I received a bum one, but the directions were NOT EASY and I put stuff together all the time! This one took almost 3 hours to put together. Wish directions were a little more clear!
Great piece, horrible assembly
*Edit: my back piece doesn't have a cord hole, even though the picture shows one. Not very convenient for a TV stand, so I dropped my review to 3 stars.* debated giving this 3 stars, but it's an alls-well-that-ends-well situation, so I landed on 4. It's a solid, sturdy piece and looks just like the picture. It's lovely in person. For that reason, I'd say it earns the four stars. The only appearance complaint is the legs are kind of wonky. When you hold them next to each other, you can see that they don't screw on at the same angle. There's a screw at the bottom to adjust, so it doesn't wobble, but it just barely doesn't screw out far enough. Just a slight wobble and just looking at it you can't tell the legs are off. The assembly is where things went off the rails. The directions are trash. The hardware packets aren't labeled with their corresponding letter, so I had to read the packet descriptions and hope for the best. The wood pieces are stamped with their piece number, but the stamp was smeared, so I just I had to guess and hope for the best. There's steps that are missing. From step 1 to step 2 two pieces magically appeared connected to the pieces that you assemble in step 1, but directions aren't included in step two. Some of the steps seem out of order. Some of the steps are physically impossible to do without flipping the whole thing over and then flipping it back. Most of the pilot holes weren't actually pre-drill, not even a little scratch to indicate where it's supposed to be. Also, the pictures do a poor job of explaining where screws go are supposed to go. I just replaced a bunch of furniture, so I've assembled four pieces in the last month, and this was by far the most difficult. But, it came together and it looks fabulous, so it can keep the four stars. (I put this together myself and it took at least 2-3 hours).
LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I bought two of these for a very long wall in my newly finished basement. Eventually there will be an 83" TV mounted in the center of the wall. The first one took a little over two hours to assemble, but the second took just over an hour. The space is decorated in an eclectic style, with a mix of mid-century modern furniture and persian collectibles. These consoles could not be a more perfect addition, and they were affordable enough that buying two didn't stress me out in the least.
Surpassed Expectations
I move quite often, and have ordered many TV stands online to only be disappointed and frustrated with the quality and inability to put them together myself due to missing parts, holes being in the wrong spot, etc. This stand is fairly easy to put together, the directions actually make sense, and the final product is as beautiful as the picture. For the price it's fantastic quality, modern, and sturdy. Just a heads up, the hole in the back is fairly small for wires.
should double check before shipping out
happy with the way this t.v. stand looks. disappointed with the missing parts and no contact info to the company so they could send me what i needed. the inconvenience of having to spend more money and time to go to a hardware store made the credenza not worth it. parts missing were 7 out of 8 long screws and a threaded nut insert (goes inside the leg.)
Heavy Quality Piece
Good quality, heavy console. Perfect for my guest bedroom. Best advice is to study all pages first, sort the parts & just go for it! It can be a bit intimidating, but once you start you will easily see the rhythm of what hardware is used where. Also, all furniture pieces are stamped on the raw side with the piece #......took me a while before discovering because some off the stamping is a bit faded. I assembled solo and it took me 3/4 of the day with breaks, etc. When you place the legs on the piece (final step), best to get someone to help you flip it upright. I did by myself & flipped it before installing the legs by pushing the console on its end then setting it down on its legs carefully.
Excellent Purchase, Beautiful, Easy to Assemble
By far the absolute best purchase I've made from Overstock. Just as beautiful in person as it was online, if not more so! Extremely sturdy, but also very heavy. No doubt it will last a long time. Goes perfect in our new living area. Easy to assemble but took a while and having a second person help was definitely helpful! Might consider professional assembly if you don't consider yourself handy. Would definitely buy again. Worth every penny.
Gorgeous and inexpensive?
Honestly, i would recommend this piece to anyone looking for a mid-century modern piece. We have a very down to earth meets Mid-century style in our house so the off-white especially fits well and adds some nice warmth along with the stunning wood tones. As far as looks, everyone whose seen it loves it! And though it may not be the highest end quality it's visually stunning and totally worth the price. Assembly was about as difficult as building any ikea piece, so completely expected for an unassembled piece. so, If you're in the market for something beautiful and pocket friendly look no further
Great piece, but wobbly
Assembly took 2 1/2 hours with 2 people. HIGHLY recommend labeling your hardware before beginning as they don't come that way and it really helped. Overall it's a good piece! Fits our mid-century modern vibe well. I found a circular coffee table on home depot for about a hundred bucks (called Moore 32" off-white medium round white coffee table) that matches so perfectly it looks like they're made by the same people. Same exact off-white top and wooden legs. Love the set! My issue with this console is that it doesn't feel stable. We've tried with and without furniture pads, moving it to different areas, adjusting the legs, and its still wobbly. Pictured is our 65" TV, which fits perfectly, but makes it feel even more unsteady. We're renting and really didn't want to have to mount it. With kids and dogs running around, it's just too wobbly so we're going to have to. Other than that, great piece and definitely worth the price!
It's only front facing - the back isn't finished.
It looks nice (Mid-Century style) and is sturdy once put together. You'll need two people to build it and get it up the stairs. It weighs around 90 lbs in the box. It does fit our 65" TV. Ours arrived with damage, but we decided we didn't need the back cover, and the other damage is hidden underneath. The instructions are Not easy to understand... take your time. Fortunately, I've put together enough ***** and legos over the years to assemble it. It's only front facing - the back and under sides aren't finished (only finished on fronts and sides). Needed to glue the lower/outer wood pieces to the base, as there weren't any pilot holes drilled on those parts. Discarded the upper ones.
Extremely heavy, get help, but beautiful outcome
The quality of this piece is very nice and you can tell that immediately because of how insanely heavy it is. I had to have my partner help me just get it inside from how much this thing weighed. Putting it together was a hassle and took about 2 and a half hours from the poorly made directions. They're just images, there's no written instructions on what to do, so the amount of time I had to double, triple and quadruple check that I was doing it correctly with the right pieces was challenging. The screws and bolts are all also very poorly labeled so I had to take extra time making sure everything was exactly what I needed so I didn't mess up, which I still ended up messing up. You'll likely need a partner at certain points to help you put this together unless you're very strong on your own. The wooden dowels did not fit well in the holes so placing the shelf on top of another was tricky from the weight and trying to line up everything perfectly while also slamming down a hammer or body weight to get the pieces to fit. Finally, be careful tightening the legs because it can make it wobbly. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It ended up being beautiful, but dang, it was a real you know what to put together.
Worth the work!
Package arrived with a big, long hole on the box but it was double boxed and well-packaged with no damage inside. May need a second person to carry it inside due to its length and weight. It took 2 people a little over 2 hours to assemble. Spent way too much time figuring out what goes where as the instructions were not clear. However, the piece was actually very easy to assemble. Do not let all the parts and bad instructions intimidate you! Ideally, you will have a power drill; there are sections without pre drill holes like the inner brown shelves and part of the bottom legs. Prepare to hear squeaks as the screw breaks into the boards. Getting the bottom long piece on and aligned was tricky. The middle piece refused to go down all the way and there was an annoying gap. I ended up stepping and jumping on it with 1 foot while my bf held onto me. It's not the most quality unit (it already has a tiny chip during assembly when it bumped into a nearby chair) but it makes for an attractive starter tv unit. I purchased the off-white/cream (does have gloss) because it matched the room better.
Great Piece and needs 2ppl for assembly
The packaged arrived beautifully and well packaged. Each piece is branded with a number, which was easy to identify when referring to instructions (you will be looking for PC "#"). The packaging of the nuts and bolts were also numbered telling you where you will use them (discovered it along the way). The actual instruction manual were not clear and the print was small so it was hard to see which screws go where. Either the pictures need to be bigger or it needs some kinda of descriptive details. The two hardest part was getting the top shelf onto because it really needs to align and you have to push it down hard several times just to get the piece in. The second hard part was getting the brown side pieces in as you would need to physically screw onto the no existing hole. Overall the piece is very nice when it was done. I recommend having two people to assembly as the pieces were heavy. It took me about 3hrs to build the piece.
I spent MONTHS choosing the right one
I'm very pleased with this. I spent literally months choosing a console after selling my previous one because I couldn't find the right one, but after seeing this one I instantly loved it. It still took me a while to actually purchase because I was really looking for something with a lighter wood color but I don't mind it now that I see it in person. I got the cream/off white version to better match the rest of my decor. It's very sleek and modern and really adds so much to the room. My only complaints are that it was fairly difficult to put together. Seems easy but the instructions are just pictures so it's kind of hard to tell what all goes where. My husband had to work so my dad offered to come help and it took us 2 or more hours with help from my husband at the end after he got home. And second, the top has a line/dent in it on the left side which is a bummer but not really noticeable if you don't know it's there. Other than that it is very sturdy and well made. I'm happy I chose it.
Heavy and sturdy furniture - drill not necessary
This is a HEAVY piece. It definitely feels sturdy once put together. It did take me and my bf a couple hours just because of how heavy it was and how I needed to be careful not to damage the glossy top. While I can see it being easier with a drill, you can still assemble it without one. I assembled it on my rug, just to be safe. That said, it's a gorgeous piece that already received a few compliments. The TV I have on top is a 55-inch one if anyone was curious. I'm happy with the purchase!
