This rug is amazing for the price! We have a hallway that is 14‘ 7“ long. This hallway gets all the traffic in the house day in and day out because it leads to the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen. We needed a hard-wearing rug with a vibrant design to bring some life into the space. It also needed to be thick enough to dampen the creaking of the wood floors while not being a tripping hazard, and lighter colored while hiding dirt and wear. This made finding a rug a tall order. We fell in love with this rug for its vibrant colors. Many tufted rugs are more muted or dark, but the blues and oranges in this design are quite beautiful. The pattern is traditional, but the large scale and colors make it look more modern, helping blend with both our antique and newer furniture. This rug is sold as a 15 foot long rug, which would have been too long for our hallway. However, we had read several reviews that complained that the rugs arrived some inches shorter than advertised. With that information, we decided to take a gamble on the longer rug. When it arrived, it was indeed, 5 inches shorter than 15 feet, for a total of 14‘ 7“ long — the exact length of our hallway! It was like getting a custom rug without the hefty price tag or hassle! All but one corner laid flat right out of the box (fixed with some heavy books), and we appreciated that it came rolled the correct direction to simply let it unroll into place. We used Wayfair’s basic 12’ runner pad underneath and it has worked well to keep it in place without bulking it up. The tufting is strong and springy, not rough and we haven’t noticed excessive shedding or pulls, even with a cat. Highly recommend!

Colors are true to pics, very substantial texture and beautiful rug. Negatives are it was 7” smaller than 9 feet round diameter, that’s quite a bit even with disclaimer that “size is an approximate”. Disappointed with delivery prep, previous rugs ordered were wrapped around tube, this was folded which is not good for texture/weight of this rug, not sure creases will ever come out.

Highly dissapointed in this rug. We saw the stellar reviews and were looking forward to using this in our TV room where my kids and us spend a lot of time. However, after we got the unit, one thing we noticed immediately is that it sheds like crazy! and there is no end to this in sight. I repeatedly vacuumed the rug assuming the shedding happened (pictures posted)as it's a brand new unit but more and more it looks like it's just due to the poor quality of the rug.
