They haven't worn well

I bought these for my built in appliances. They look terrible after only 2 years they are peeling and scratched beyond belief.

Now this handle might be overkill for what I used it for but it sure looks nice. And I’ve had some family ask where I got it. I ended up using it for my pantry. I know it says it’s for a drawer pull but I used it more as a handle for a large cabinet door. I just installed some new cabinets in a kitchen in a rental property and I was asked if I could find a similar handle that was just larger to separate the door from the rest. And it looks a lot nicer than I thought it would have originally. I was actually thinking it would be pretty cool to add a few more. It’s actually made really good and pretty heavy. Definitely would not want this thing to hit you on the head. It’s definitely a specialty item and I’m not too sure how many people will be using this but is made well and comes with different size screws for different applications. The chrome on it shines nice and it cleans really easily with just a damp rag. I was even thinking this style would look pretty cool on all drawers. But still gotta think about it. It’s nice but like I said I’m not sure how many more need a specialty pull like this.

I believe that this handle deserves more credit than the product description specs describe. Based on my evaluation, the handle is not made of zinc, but a stainless-steel alloy. It has slightly magnetic properties whereas zinc is diamagnetic. The handle weighs 1057 grams (2.33 pounds). The handle is 42.3 cm long and is slightly egg-shaped at xx wide and xx deep. This shape is not obvious until you grip the bail. The bail is supported on integral posts on each end that are 1.8 cm at the bail and flare out to 2.0 cm at the mounting surface. The handle projects 4.7 cm from the mounting surface and the clearance from the mounting surface is 2.5 cm—almost 1-inch—which makes the handle easy to grip.>>>>For fun, I measured the bail and posts and calculated that the volume of the handle is 98.60 cm3. Using the weight of the handle, I calculated that the specific density of the material is 10.72 g/cm3. The web says the density of zinc is about 7.13 g/cm3 and that for stainless-steel is approximately 7.99 g/cm3 depending on the alloy.
