Product was difficult to assemble. The screws do not easily go through the wood.

Looks Great!

Looks nice - but a total disaster to put tougher.

Great bench. Solid sturdy. Beautiful finish. The screws were extremely tight trying to screw them in. It took quite a while with the Allen wrench but I got it put together. The drill would not fit so I couldn’t use it. I put it together by myself. The only problem I have with this bench is that I accidentally ordered the wrong finish. And the company will not exchange it for the finish I want! So I’m stuck with it! Very disappointed I have to purchase another bench. But I am going to order another one and the table that matches.

Love the look and quality of this bench in Rustic Walnut. I purchased it to go along with the matching table, and it does not disappoint.

This is a solid beautiful piece. The color is true to the advertised picture.

Pain to assemble

Great little bench! Soooo easy to put together! It ended up fitting perfect around my table legs (which are oddly spaced apart because it’s a custom shorter table) our table is right about 71inches long. I order barnwood but it’s definitely a dark espresso with hints of red in it…which is what I need to match my table because I couldn’t find one I liked to match my chairs. Sturdy, not too heavy. Actually it’s pretty light. One leg came with a little chip but I’ll just fix it with a furniture marker or something. Great buy especially for the price.

Quality not what expected

I ordered the bench and table. Unfortunately, the bench was not at all the quality I expected. The wood is not stained, it looks like it was dipped in a resin which makes the wood look fake. I sent it bavk but had to pay a 20% restocking fee. I never actually received the table. The delivery person said it was heavily damaged in shipping (not GrainWoods fault) and I refused receipt. I do not want a replacement and have not yet received any sort of credit. The whole ordeal was very disappointing.

I recently purchased 2 Valerie benches and the matching table in driftwood. I couldn’t love this set more! It’s perfect for the casual coastal vibe I’m going for in my new house and it was easy to put together too!

Great!! Solid wood, love it

This functional and handsome bench works well in many places. I like the texture and the size. In the summertime, it’s at the footboard of the bed to catch extra pillows and guest’s suitcases. In the winter, I move it under the window for large houseplants that I move in from the patio. I’m considering ordering another!

Love this bench. Beautifully made, sturdy and it was a quick setup. It ties in well with my table and chairs. Definitely recommend it .

The color is lighter than I expected but I love this bench

Solid bench, but NOT EVEN CLOSE to "driftwood" color unless in your area dead wood sits on the beach and becomes golden yellow.
