Very nice, but still too high a price for me

Quality was great, but I do feel the price was still too high for what I received. Similar quilts with shams can be purchased for less than half this price. I paid the premium price to get the color I wanted, as it was a color often sold out in other quilt options. Unfortunately, the color was too dark once I saw it in my home. I returned it.

Beautiful quilt set

This quilt set is beautiful. It arrived quickly. I did have to return it, unfortunately, as it didn't match. I know computer monitors can alter the actual color and that's what happened here. I took a gamble anyway. Disappointed it didn't work out, but I would still recommend as it was very nice.

Velvet touch?! Don't think so...

Velvet touch?! I don't think so. More like cheap fake ultra suede. I wanted a cozy large throw for the living room. I ordered the blue/turquoise and it works with my rustic decor. The color is good. The shams are not zippered. More like a pouch sham. The white backing gives me the idea the quilt backing is a add on. The shams gap with a pillow in it. Glad the quilt is also blue/turquoise but not the same fabric of the top. Had I paid retail price it would be returned. Pretty stiff out of the box. Hope it softens with a wash. Way thinner than I expected. Not really the bargain I was looking for. Would not recommend unless it gets nicer after laundering.

Beautiful teal color, a little more green than I expected, but I like it. We have a ar 10" (?) high mattress (no box spring) and it drapes beautifully on all sides. Nice weight. Will update in a few months about quality, etc. First impression...love!

Great for king size bed. The quilt is well made and very nice for cool temperature rooms. The color is more on the green taupe side than brown taupe.

Gorgeous

One word describes the Hampton Hill - Velvet Touch 3 Piece Luxurious Oversized Quilt Set --- gorgeous. The fabric color is vibrant and soft to the touch. The set has been washed multiple times and, if anything, the fabric is getting softer. Color has not faded yet.

Pop of color

Our headboard is gray so using any neutral bed cover keeps clashing. This quilt is such a fun pop of color, it’s very rich, feels soft, and just all around great. I’m attaching the color in natural light, it looks darker at night.

Super soft

I love this quilt set. It’s thick but breathable. It’s by far the softest bedding I’ve ever owned. After a few washes, it’s kept it’s color and still feels great. I’d buy it again.

Not so soft

I bought this online, never tried a quilt cover like this but always wanted to. But i wasnt very satisfied, the color wasn’t like described and the texture is t as soft as described either. Its very stiff so it only serves as a cover and not a blanket. Long enough to fit my queen bed which is a plus.

The coverlet is oversized and overfilled with batting to make it more comfortable and softer, it has a velvety soft touch and is a brushed material that looks so soft. It has a high end look and feel and quality made. This coverlet has a lightweight feel but has the feel of a weighted blanket when using it and washes up great and keeps it shape and no fading. The pictures do not do this set justice with the peacock color. It looks like it should be in a high class hotel because it just looks so good. My wife loves how this coverlet looks and feels. I would highly recommend the Hampton Hill Velvet Touch 3 Piece Coverlet Set that would make any bed look like a 5 star hotel!

Soft!

I live in Wisconsin and I think this is a perfect thickness for the summer. It's not super thick and somewhat breathable, so it's a good layer for those cool summer nights. It's also very soft and light, easy to wash.

normal coverlet

I am not sure I would called this oversized or velvet touch. There was nothing oversized about the size and it certainly did not feel anything like velvet, more so normal rough cheap cotton feel. One thing I did like about it was it had some weight to it more so then a normal coverlet and the color itself was nice.
