Just right with caveat

Perfect for a winter nap or watching TV while on the couch. Almost too big 66" wide but the regular throw was 48". I would have been happy with 60" wide. That said, this 66" size is probably perfect for a Twin XL mattress. Extra width likely works well if cuddling with a loved one on the couch, too. Compared to a different brand of throw (which happened to be 60" wide), the fleece fabric of this product was thinner but still comfy.

Ultimate luxury and beauty

I bought one for my 80 year old mother whose iron is so low she gets monthly transfusions so she is constantly cold. She said it was too pretty to use everyday. Ha! I was jealous of how pretty and soft hers was so I jumped on it once I saw it on sale. This blanket is absolutely luxurious both in feel and warmth. I want more in other colors but I'll continue to enjoy this one everyday until my next purchase.

LOVE!!!

I absolutely love this blanket! I struggle to find blankets that aren't too hot or too cold, and this is perfect. It's large size is amazing; it covers my queen bed with no problem.

SO disappointed!

I fell in love with this pattern when I saw it online, and it looked even better when I received it. Very large, cozy-warm, and colors perfect for my decor. Unfortunately, it's virtually unusable because it pills (big balls of fiber) and sheds like no blanket I've ever seen. I could go through an entire sticky lint roller and the fuzz just keeps on coming. I've washed and dried it several times hoping that would get rid of the extra fibers that I assume are causing the pilling/shedding, but it's worse than ever. And the fiber it leaves behind in washer and in dryer lint trap is unbelievable! Does anyone have any suggestions as to how lessen this pilling?

New Favorite

This blanket is huge and so plush and comfortable. I use it over top of my full size comforter, and it fits perfectly on the bed with enough slack that you could use it in place of a comforter if you wanted.

The description that Vera Bradley uses for this blanket is misleading "Plush Throw Blanket Full/Queen"....the only thing about this blanket which is like a throw blanket, is that it is made out of the same type of material as the Plush Throw Blanket. This BLANKET IS FOR A FULL SIZE or QUEEN SIZE BED (also comes in king size), NOT a THROW BLANKET SIZE. That being said; it looks lovely on my bed & serves the purpose of adding a bit more warmth to my bed, but not as heavy as a regular blanket or quilt; just enough extra warmth, like a throw blanket in weight, but fits my whole bed in size. Just what I was looking for.

Mom loved it

This blanket I was not sure of when I purchased it as a gift for my mother. But when I opened it I fell in love with it for myself and I was thinking I should've bought one for me. I bought it just for the beautiful purple butterfly pattern also for the size. My mom is always telling me that she has a hard time keeping warm and curling up on her couch because she could either cover her shoulders and then her feet are uncovered or she can cover her feet and have her shoulders uncovered. I love the softness of the vera Bradley blankets. And I do have to say the design on this blanket is much prettier in person than what it is on the website. I have showed people pictures of the website blanket versus the actual blanket in person and they all agree they would not think that's how the blanket one actually look like by the website picture. There is a blue butterfly that comes in a king size I think I might try that one next. It looks very busy on the website but I bet you'll be just as beautiful as this one in person.
