Poor Assembly Design

I have put together a lot of furniture and I have never in life seen an assembly this ridiculous. The legs attach the seat with brackets and little screws but there are no holes or specific place so you have to screw directly into the wood. There is no way to tighten the screw tight enough so every time you sit on or pick up the ottoman the legs give way a little bit the metal prices click together. 0/10 on assembly. I’m not sure why they did this.

Lovw it

Love it now that it’s built! Mine didn’t have holes pre drilled to connect the seat to the legs which was a minor inconvenience, but not a showstopper.

Comfy

Comfier than it looks. The top is cushioned and works great to put your feet up on. It’s true that some holes were not pre drilled.

Exactly what I was looking for. I had fabric from having recently recovered some side chairs, and it was super easy to change these stools as I was putting them together. Sturdy enough for extra seating, which was precisely what I wanted.

No review with out paying me Wal-Mart

Wasn't needs to pay me for a review. They pay millions to companies to survey and write their commercials.

Great but...

Exactly what I needed and great product. I held back a star because there are flaws to the construction. In the instructions it says to use short end to screw in but I had to use the long end initially then the short to tighten. Also no pre made holes to screw in the cushion to the pieces given. Not impossible or difficult. You just have to figure out some things not provided in the instructions.

Great ottoman

Not sure why some people had trouble assembling. I don't build things at all and it only took 10-15 minutes. I just turned the L key to the longer side (this was different from the instructions) and the bolts went in pretty quickly. I love it and it's sturdy

This ottoman is great, I have two. They’re sturdy and classy and larger than I thought they’d be. My only complaint is they slide around on my area rug but maybe all ottomans do? Just need to get some grip pads for the legs.

Nice

Super cute, just as described, FAIRLY easy to put together. Gets 4 stars because the clips to attach the cushion to the base didn't have predrilled holes, which took me 2 tries to get it attached straight. But study (its for our nursery, and I needed it to hold the inevitable toddler stand) and nice and as expected. Thanks!

It's a nice ottoman, looks good, does have a bit of an odor as some other reviewers describe but it went away pretty quickly. Only reason this isn't 5 stars is because it was a massive pain to assemble. It's not technically challenging, but incredibly annoying - assembling the legs took a while from all the quarter allen key turns. Also don't have any pilot holes to indicate how the legs should attach to the actual seat. Besides that there's nothing wrong with it - just could be designed to be a little easier to put together.

Looks as nice as it is in the picture and assembly was straight forward. Also is of good quality. I bought this for a closet with high shelves. It is sturdy enough to sit and stand on (I am 6’ and 200 lbs). Very nice product.

Great Find

My wife and I were looking for a entry bench to take off our shoes at the door and this is perfect for a small apartment space. Some assembly but not too hard. Definitely worth the price. Looks great with our new hardwood floors.

Great style, works wonderful in mid-century modern trasition room. Very sturdy. Only negative is that I had to use a power drill to attach the top, no pre-bored holes. But quick and easy to put together, love it! Height is perfect for a low foot rest with an arm chair.

I am giving this a 4 because it looks so great in the photos. Truth is, I never got past opening the seat. We didn't even take anything else out of the box. Several of the photos show a very light grey, more of a white, and that is the color I hoped this footstool would turn out to be. Unfortunately, it is the darker grey shown in other photos. Nice quality seat and definitely didn't have the odor another reviewer mentioned. I returned it.
