I was so disappointed! I wanted these to cover my new furniture with the cushions. I opened one package and read the instructions. It says do not cover furniture with cushions on it, they will mold. Also not water resistant so why buy them. Took them all back.

To protect our outdoor chairs and cushions from the Colorado Sun we purchased these covers. We have been purchasing covers for over 20 years and the sun chews them up and spits them out. So far, these chair covers look like the best ones we have ever purchased! They are easy to put on and take off and have belts to secure the covers to the chairs which is an excellent feature with some of the wind gusts we get along the Front Range.

These covers are necessary for my outdoor furniture inside a screened in porch. The cushions continue to get covered with dust and pollen. Just remove the covers and enjoying bug free entertainment and clean furniture. Place them back on upon going inside. These are well made with canvas. They usually last me 4 or 5 years. I will order again. Good luck.

Seems like a good cover. Somewhat larger than dimensions stated. Material is too stiff to pull the shock cord in hem tight. Had to pull the cord and work the material around. The waterproof backing looks like PVC. Just wondering if it will start cracking in freezing weather. Overall I think it is a good value.

Nice looking well made covers. Very pleased when I received them. However, the covers will only last one season in the hot Arizona sun if in the direct sun. The plastic coating on the inside of the covers to make them water proof becomes brittle and cracks into a million little pieces. Cover material also beginning to tear. Very disappointed!

Second try with these

I bought these in 2014. Our patio furniture is on a covered porch and they only get morning sun. After the first rain, they all mildewed inside and although the mildew never got worse, it was ugly. Then one by one, they started ripping in places. I ordered them again because they do a great job of protecting my furniture, imagine the damage to the furniture if the covers weren't there. I hope this set doesn't mildew and I hope they don't tear after 2 years of use. I didn't register my covers the first time around so I didn't ask about a warranty replacement. I will if they do it again!

Seemed like the product was exceptionally good for about 8 months. After about 1 year cover faded and started to shed a white powdery substance. Powder got all over patio furniture and clothing. In another 5 months cover started to rip and fall apart. Would not recommend this product to anyone who lives in a desert area. Completely dissatisfied with product. I recently brought Patio Armor covers from Home Depot and are superior to Veranda Covers. Made the mistake by throwing away Veranda Cover yesterday, trash pick up was today. Should have kept cover for a complete refund. Found out from customer service product has a 3yr factory warranty.

Highly functional and easy to use

I've used other outdoor furniture covers in the past but they are not nearly as effective as this one. It keeps furniture completely dry. they are a bit big and unwieldy and an odd shape to work with, but after a while I got the hang of fitting them over the chairs quickly and removing them to fold up quickly -- similar to folding fitted sheets. Even though they are quite heavy duty, they still are pliable enough to fold easily (unlike my heavy-duty grill cover), ,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, I was hesitant to get nice outdoor furniture with cushions because of rain issues. Even the outdoor sunbrella-type fabrics are not perfect --the fabric repels some water but definitely will be too wet to sit in or still drying out after a rain, so a cover is essential I think. So far (but its only May), it has been easy to follow the weather forecast and throw them on when rain is expected. I got a small waterproof storage basket to keep them in when not in use., ,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, They were a little pricey, but well worth it and less expensive than somewhere else I saw them. , ,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, I thought the dimensions were peculiar and might not work, but I trusted the picture that it was the same as my chair and it was. It's an odd shape so it wasn't clear just what dimensions where which lengths.
