coastal porch rocker

This chair is nice looking comfortable cushions are only OK and Quality however, I do like the color. The fabric does seem a little thin. We will see how it holds up. It's comfortable for the price.

DO NOT BUY

I purchased this set and tried to return it right after because of the quality. However, I would have to pay a lot and shipping to return it and had no recourse. I have now had it for one year and it looks like it is been beat down and weathered total waste of money. Do not buy!!

Poor quality and even worse warranty!

Terrible chairs and cushions. They do not hold up outdoors. Wood and cushions faded in first year. I purchased warranty. Don't bother! They do not honor warranties! Obviously *** garbage. Again, these are not quality chairs. Don't waste your money.

The chairs look very nice from afar. They stain easy and the rocker aspect is not balanced. You really have to force it to rock and it doesn't rock evenly on both sides. I removed the cushions after one day of use to wash them. One zipper broke immediately. The cushions are slightly rectangular and are difficult to put back in the covers. Other outdoor furniture I've purchased has had a very durable canvas fabric. This fabric is so thin it is see-through. I even treated it with scotch guard before use but that didn't seem to help. I don't recommend the chairs by this brand but I do LOVE their rugs. I have 4-5 rugs in my house and couldn't be happier with them.

Repeat customer on this stylish rocker!! We have three on our porch and they are just perfect! Easy to assemble and also easy to clean! Ours are covered on our porch so they don't get complete exposure to the elements but I can attest to how well they hold up to houston summers!!

I've had these chairs for several years. They remained outside uncovered. After about 1 yr, the wood started cracking in some areas. It has not progressed. They even sustained a cross country move. Given the unique mid century style that is hard to find at this price point, I'd likely buy it again but would treat it with a protectant early on.

Love these! Nice and spacious. Perfect for patio sitting and sturdy, for those stormy windy days. The cushions are comfortable and easy to remove and to wash. Setting them up was easy too, didn't need help. Love the way they look, they look more expensive than what they are which is nice. Thinking about getting 2 more for our downstairs patio!!

I purchased 2 chairs for my front porch. I wanted something low because they would be in front on my big window. These chairs are low but wide so still comfortable for an adult. The rock is more of a subtle rock. The chairs look modern and expensive but the coushions are made of a material that feels like the cheapest material ever. The packing material has more pizazz than the cushion materials.

Great value and comfortable

Very nice looking. Cushions are fairly thick. I put first one together in 30 minutes. Second one in 15 minutes. I would suggest putting the seat section in place before totally tightening sides much easier. Looks like real teakwood. Good substitute will probably put a coat of Thompson's for good measure

Great outdoor chair!

This chair is very comfortable and looks great in our yard with our other teak furniture. Also very easy to put together and feels sturdy. Cushions are fine for the size and decent quality. If you prefer a softer feel you could add an outdoor throw/accent pillow. Agree with other reviewer that it didn't really rock, but that's fine for us because we wanted to just decline slightly and put our feet up. Definitely worth the money, we even ordered another one because we like it so much!

Super happy with these.

I just moved to AZ from the PNW and was looking for a place to relax in the shade. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the chairs, even though I "built" them. They've worked out extremely well and are the perfect place to relax in the AM with coffee, throughout the day when I need a break from work, and in the evening with a drink and a cigar. I wouldn't recommend them for a full sun spot but if you have a place to relax in the shade, these may be the ticket for you as well. They're sturdy but also light enough to easily move around, I've had them in a couple different locations thus far though my preference is the back patio.

The chair isn't worth the price and the packaging is horrible. I have styrofoam everywhere. It was in tiny pieces in the box. Looks like it was dropped repeatedly in shipping. The tie straps are barely sewn on and will not hold up to being tied and then sat on. This is teak look wood and instructions call for it to be brought indoors when not in use. This is marketed as an outdoor wood chair. Outdoor chairs aren't suppose to be brought inside when not in use. Buyer beware not at all what it's advertised. I have bought another four piece wood set in February that is fabulous from overstock, added this thinking it would be similar boy was I wrong. I'm hoping I get at least one season from it. Ugh.

Nice chairs, abysmal packaging

I bought two. Chairs are comfy, great modern look, seem well constructed, easy to put together. On 1 of the 2 chairs 1 of the screws stripped out, had to move it to a new position and then the head snapped off as I was trying to secure it, but it is just 1 of the 4 screws that keep the bottom frame tight so not a big deal. I would give the chair itself 5 stars. But the packaging is just inexcusably horrible, in a way that the manufacturer and Overstock may not realize, since they're not on the "receiving end" of this product. All of the parts are surrounded by styrofoam sheets ... LOADS of styrofoam. So much styrofoam that it filled up a 42 gallon contractor bag (you may not realize the scale, but again that is a 42 gallon bag where a normal "hefty" bag is 30 gallons). Worse yet, it's really cheap styrofoam such that during shipping tons of those teeny little balls break off and get EVERYWHERE. Due to static cling they stick to your clothes, the chair, the inside of the box, and the rest of them fly off in the breeze while you are assembling it. I resorted to taking a vacuum outside to clean off myself and the chair rather than having even more balls blowing around on my deck. And even so I'm finding them on the floor of my house after I tracked them in. Don't even think about assembling this thing indoors. On top of that, they didn't even protect the chairs that well. One of the chairs had some gashes (I didn't want to return the chair due to minor damage and have it go to the landfill along with the loads of aforementioned styrofoam, not to mention the packaging materials from the replacement chair). Now I'm left with a huge cardboard box caked with yet more of those tiny balls. Being a bit OCD, I'm going to spend another 15 minutes vacuuming out the box before tearing it up so that I don't get little balls all over myself and my car, not to mention contaminating the recycling dumpster. I'm sure 99% of folks just throw away all of that styrofoam along with the box, making a huge mess in the recycle dumpster. Overstock should require the manufacturer to switch to a more eco-friendly AND more consumer-friendly method of packaging. I see no reason why the manufacturer couldn't cushion the pieces with cardboard or similar. I'm sure over time I will forget about the couple of hours I spent dealing with the mess while assembling these chairs, but at the moment it is front and center every time I look at them :-)

Contemporary outdoor rockers

Material is easy to clean. Chairs are somewhat low to ground if you are ok with that. Works fine. Took me about 30 minutes to put together and all parts were there! Lots of styrofoam so no damage. Quicker delivery than I expected and Lowe’s price beat out several other sites. Very happy with look and product.

Overstock has offered to replace the one that was delivered. I hadn't even gotten the first two pieces attached completely before realizing the hardware was the wrong length and was pushing its way through the wood. I was left with two options: leave it wobbly because it wasn't screwed all the way, or splinter the wood when the screw busted through it. I've accepted the replacement offer and hope that one is better. Aside from this, the finish was poor. It was clearly worn in several places, and there were three places in which the wood was chipped. The packaging quality was excellent, so I assume it was oversight by QC. Grateful to Overstock's customer support for quickly addressing the issue.

Cushions fade

Love these chairs. Just why we needed to complement our cedar post on front porch They are heavy.. so the wind won't blow them over and they have ties for the cushions.. Easy to Assemble !! My 5 year old and I were able to assemble 2 In less that 1 hour Update: the cushions need replacing and I have had them less than a year! They have faded terribly and i can't find replacement covers for these. I have to have someone make them and they cost *** per chair. Considering the chair is close to that in price, that is frustrating.
