Purchased as part of a set for spare bedroom. I love the color, and was able to easily assemble with a friend. The height works well with my taller bed. Only negative is the configuration of that top drawer; I'd suggest the manufacturer forget about including the power strip and just make it a three drawer stand. It's a bit of a fuss dealing with that, but for a spare bedroom it works fine.

The product itself is a five star. It's sturdy and pretty. However, the instructions booklet for assembly was poorly written, hence the 4 stars. The bolts/screws and nuts were put together without a separate label. I had to match the bolts/screws to the images in the booklet, and some were easier than others to match. I reached out to Wayfair and the manufacturer sent me video links that helped with the assembly. After this, it was fairly easy to put it together. I (female, petite, non-DIYer) spent 2 hours to put one together. The package is heavy, I had to open the box and move the parts in bits to the place of assembly. I love the assembled product.

Bought one back in 2020 for myself. Loved it ever since. The extension cord in the top is a huge source of ease as well. Got married and bought a second one, assembly was relatively easy, and mine is still going strong!

A real nightmare. Still don’t have one completed. Pressed wood, 1000 pieces to understand how to put it together.

This was another project I did by myself. The instructions did not say how to put shelf G together and I actually ended up having the screws for the power strip on the right side instead of the left side. It was not notated in the instructions. Easy to assemble. I had 2 nightstands and after the first one was built I did the second one and that went faster. I really like the drawer space.

Nice look - just like the pictures. Only drawback - The top drawer is not a drawer. It slides the top of the nightstand open to access charge ports and storage. I would have preferred a top drawer with a lid on the top to access charging plugs instead.

The corners are a little sharp. It is a very attractive. I chose not to install the power strip inside the top. Not crazy about the way the top of the nightstand slides rather than the top drawer opening "like a drawer."

Very close to 5 stars. Just a slight dent on the corner of one panel was the only issue. The stands look good and the overall operation is very good for the drawers. I did replace the “in drawer “ extension cord with one with both USB A and C ports as well as 120v. I would make this purchase again. :)

Ordered two. A few pieces came damaged but the company was quick to send replacement pieces. They appeared to be made different material, not the laminate but inside wood material - and not quite as high quality. The laminate edges are slightly not as clean as the original pieces but not terrible. They are solid and sharp looking once put together. A big plus if you have a CPAP is that it fits so nicely in the top slide out and the hose comes right out the back. Totally hidden once closed.

Cute useful nightstand

The instructions was a little confusing at first, but as I went along it got easier. I appreciate that you can get assistance by phone and they will stay on the phone with as you are putting it together. Thankfully I didn't need the assistance. It looks great in my bedroom. Nice not seeing my charging wires hanging out because it's inside the top drawer! I would recommend this nightstand.

nice piece of furniture. bought 2. instructions were missing from first box opened, notified the company, south shore, and they e-mailed instructions. I didn't want to open the second box with nightstand to check for instructions in case it would get mixed up with the first box parts. and also incase i needed to return it. The first nightstand was assembled and was lacking a couple of parts which we borrowed from the second box. (which by the way did have the instructions) Putting the second nightstand together found need to replace the parts we had borrowed to complete the first nightstand. found need to notify the company for the additional parts needed and received them right away. South Shore was a pleasant company to do business with.

Terrible design and super cheap!

Probably the cheapest thing I've ever bought from Overstock! Terribly damaged on both pieces. Unfortunately they weren't put together until after the return time. Really bad design for the top drawer. If you open the top drawer and have a lamp on the nightstand, the lamp will fall in if it's anywhere near the middle. Not a great design nor quality! Oh and it takes so long to put together and for what??? A terribly designed, cheap nightstand.

Great nightstand!

We got this a few weeks ago to replace a much larger nightstand. The fact that it is also a charging station is amazing! All of my cords are gone!. There is plenty of room in the top slide-out tray for all of my devices. The piece is sturdy and very sold and the color is a mix of gray and brown. The drawers glide in and out with no problem. It took us about an hour to put it together. Just go slowly, read the directions, and TIGHTEN EVERYTHING!

These night stands are such a great value for the price. My favorite feature is the split top that allows charger cords to come through while hiding everything else underneath. Sets up for a very clean look. The supplied power strip in the top drawer is a genius idea. Once fully assembled, these are a bit heavy! Which to me is a good thing, they feel very sturdy and high quality. My only word of caution - do not let any condensation from cold glasses accumulate on top. The wood is very sensitive to this and it will swell. There is a warning in the box that tells you this so I'm fully taking the blame, just be aware. These were very easy to assemble, just a bit time consuming. Took me about 90 minutes for the first one, and an hour for the second one, after I was familiar with the process. Minimal tools required. One thing I did want to mention - one of mine came with broken handles. I contacted South Shore support and they were extremely helpful. I emailed them about my issue and they had new handles shipped that day! I received them a day later. I was stunned. Very easy to deal with. I will definitely look for South Shore items before anything else in the future.

My review looks a little contradicting with low overall rating but the quality and value being at the top. The instructions are HORRIBLE !!!! There is really no way to double-check you have things facing the correct direction....and there are ZERO words.....just pics and for me, I like to double-check with words and pics. I was supposed to have received this last Thursday and did not get it until Monday - which I understand but I have been working on it since then and not even CLOSE to being done. I do not even have one side done. First off, in the section where it indicates the tools you need, it's a flat-head screwdriver but then when you get to the point where you need the screwdriver, it's a phillips. Not a dealbreaker at all but it does help with telling the story of how poorly the instructions are. The price and color is what drove me on this purchase....plus, Home Depot merchandise is the best quality. However, I would NOT buy this again.....nothing from this SouthShore company. If I do not have this done by the weekend - I am sending it back ! I really do want this as I couldn't find anything else but it's too much - the assembly should not be this difficult....I have put together MANY items around our house and this is the worst !

Durable & great design EXCEPT missing hardware

This Brown Oak nightstand is well made, love the color, metal legs with metallic base, great size and durable. It also come with power strip which is a surprise! I can easily plug in my phone, iPad and lamp inside top drawer. The slide top drawer does has a small gap so you can charge phone on top which is genius.
